1 week post op check
I went for my check with the nurse today, cant believe ive been a booby club member for a week!!!!
I got my big dressings taken off and I was so nervous about actually seeing what was underneath. I was shocked at how neat the incision marks are. The nurse even said she wasnt putting steri strips on because they were healed and I will be left with virtually no scars. She has put a bit tape along them which I have to change every few days.
I'm so happy x

Awww I'm so pleased with my healing so far.
Cookie my surgeon has allowed me to shower from the first day after surgery. He seems to have his own way of doing things like allowing me to sleep on my side!!! He's a star x

Daisydee I had waterproof dressings aswell, they're brill. I'm sure Ben, my surgeon, has his own way of stitching which makes the scars really neat.
Its my first ever op so I dont know if I'm a quick healer. I just feel as though its been too easy and something bad will crop up. Nothing in my life is usually so plain sailing!!
I have to say ive enjoyed watching my hubby cope with kids and housework I think he now realises how much gets done in the house other than the hoovering and polishing!!!
