feeling really hot (temp) and boobies hurting
Hi girls, cant sleep at mo, not feeling very well. Been going to loo with very bad belly, no laxative needed here. My swelling has gone down loads today went from wearing a 38D (prob should have been 38C, rubbish support) to my 34E Z bra (which I can totally reccomend, so supportive) and am feeling nicely supported now. I think I'm running a bit of a temperture, boobs feel really hot and ache a little, maybe numbness starting to go a little. I'm just boiling, the only part of me which is cold is my feet, sat in my icy cold room. Just want to know if this is normal, is this my body gettting rid of GA? Am feeling really sorry for myself. Probably feel worse cause it's the middle of the night and things always seem worse then. Just want to cry. Still love my boobs though. Totally worth it.
Re: feeling really hot (temp) and boobies hurting
hey honey, I had my ba on the 12th of May and I also was suffering yesterday, not because of boobs aching but the stitches were driving me mad, and started to get red around them. I got really worried and called my surgeon, he told me to take the bandages out and see if the wounds are infected. I did, they weren't but I just got allergic reaction to the clue of the bandages...
Anyway, he said that if I get any temperature, I should go to the doctor immediately as it might be a sign of infection.. Don't mean to scare you, but I would defo call the clinic and ask for advice

If you feel the same this morning, you should call your clinic and make sure you are seen asap, they should not be really hot, plus tender and a fever on top of that are symptoms of infection so its best to go see your ps hun, like you said it could just be healing but better to be safe x
Re: feeling really hot (temp) and boobies hurting
I felt very hot and feverish 1 or 2 days after my op. Don't know if this was normal as I was getting pumped with a lot of antibiotics and painkillers by drip (I had a nights stay at the hospital). Call your PS if you are worried about it xx

I think it would be wise to contact clinic, they do say if you have a fever to contact. If it at least eases your mind, no point wondering and suffering when a phone call could help!!! Hope you feel a bit better, let us know how you get on. xx

Oh hope your feeling better hun! The last thing you need is an infection on top of the pain from your ba. Hope everything is ok, xxx

Re: feeling really hot (temp) and boobies hurting
Hi,
I had my BA yesterday and have been feeling really hot all of yesterday and today. (Which is strange for me as I am ALWAYS cold!!!) I haven't got a temperature so think it must be a combination of the anti biotics, painkillers and the GA working it's way out.
I couldn't sleep last night either - it's very frustrating. Will be worth it in the end!
