Re: March buddies
I know hlt.....I'm self employed with my own little business....I have someone who works for me who has been running things for me this week so we just had some time together today to go through a few things.......but not before she washed and dried my hair for me!!! Bless her!!!
P.S - It's taken me an hour but my BA story is now up and ready for viewing!!! Make sure you have a spare half a day!!! Sorry!! xx
P.P.S I'd say rice bags are not bad!! I had 300cc rice bags.....the size of my boobies now with the strap on and Macom squashem sports bra is prob around the size the rice boobies made them....I can't say exactly cos I'm still so early on....but it's a good guage! Do you like them??

I might wear my rice boobs next week to work and see if anyone notices lol. Your boobs look fab. So excited about having mine done but very nervous too xx

I have 80 tablets.....8 a day for 10 days....am planning on keeping on taking them as I am supposed to.... The side effects are getting a little boring now tho!! Blurred vision, nausea, drowsy, unclear thinking...! Just feel like i'm walking around in a daydream all the time!!!!

Re: March buddies
Who hooo am all done!
New boobies arrived on Thursday, stayed in overnight and came home Friday. Feeling fine, minimal pain and bit bored which is a good sign. Not taking any painkillers, and had IV antibiotics so not taking any thing at all fab!
They look really nice, ended up going from 230/260cc round overs to 300/345cc anatomical unders. They don't look much bigger to me but boyf thinks they do look bigger. Main thing is they are nice and even and look quite natural if a but puffy right now. Surgeon did an amazing job not a single bruise, considering I had capsule removed (had capsular contraction on one side due to radiotherapy) I am very surprised that I'm not more black and blue as some of you may be. I was a right state first time I had them done got loads of bruises. I've got waterproof dressings on so not seen scars yet but they seem to be in the right place.
Had a drain in one side, for 24 hours, it doesn't hurt having it in or when they take it out so don't worry if anyone has to have one of these its a bit gory looking but not bad.
Looking forward to leaving the house today as am getting a bit fidgety but going to take it easy.
Good luck for tomorrow Chynna Doll you'll be fine, it will be over before you know it. I booed my eyes out first time round as it is a bit scary but you will be totally thrilled when you come round...

Re: March buddies
p.s. rice boobs are a good idea, though a bit itchy to wear to work!!!
I think they do give you a good idea in terms of size but unders v's overs seem to be quite a different size/result based on what I've seen so far!

Re: March buddies
Hey china doll, good luck for tomorrow you'll be fine, are you excited yet?
I didn't wear the rice boobies to work cos one of the bags burst when I was at home, my fault as I didn't seal the bag properly, but can you imagine if that happened outside somewhere, haahaha!
My boyfriends daughter, she's only 7, was in my bedroom yesterday while I was tidying up, I had accidentally left a drawer open with my rice boobies in there and she was quizzing me why there was rice in my drawer, I didn't know what to say! Made an excuse it was for stretching my new shoes! Lol.
I would say that the size of my rice boobies are about same size as I've turned out, I had overs though. My surgeon told me that everyone's different and that if you're having overs there's a good chance you will be the full size of the rice boobies when inside you, definately has for me! And I'm loving them!

Re: March buddies
Hey girlies! I found something really good from Argos for getting a good sleep post-op (please ignore the pic of the old woman in the bed lol):
[You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]
I got it on a whim and i must say its amazing for lying in a bit of an upright position to sleep in bed, i had the best nights sleep since the BA!
Hope all the post-op club are healing well? Im not in much pain at all anymore, i could almost just about stop taking the painkillers but i'll keep them going for a little while yet. My belly swelling has went down a lot now too. Got a new sports bra, a Berlei one and i must say its the best ive had on yet. I had a little look round some shops today at nice bras but im going to wait another week or 2 and get measured properly first before buying any.
Im excited for any of you still to get done! Yaaay! xxxx

Good Luck Chynna Doll!!! You'll be fine!!! Let us know when you're all done wont you?
Barbiegirl- good call with the bed support! I might have a look at getting one of those! I'm not doing to bed sleeping at night propped up which surprises me as i'm normally abit fussy about what position I need to be in to fall asleep. Good news on the painkillers! I think i'm gonna stick it out and then from Thursday onwards I will take paracetamol.... Will be nice to get my body back from all these side effects x i'm really looking forward to getting measured!! Ha ha!! I really dont know what they are going to look like as i have had swelling between my boobs and obviously with this strap on it distorts what they look like!! So that will be exciting when I get the strap off and see my whole boobie and not just them peeking out the bottom!!!

Re: March buddies
ha ha love the granny in the photo with the backrest...
I feel a total granny hunchback too!! have got three massive pillows and crashing out no problems. belly bulge starting to deflate at last and massive bruise on my hand arriving from the canula.
keep frantically checking for signs of infection bit paranoid today but all looking ok. first day home alone tomorrow. hope I can reach the coffee in the morning.
I look just like nepoly with my sports bra on so glad not to have a strap this time around that was really uncomfortable before and when the nurse takes it off rrriiipppp oooooch that hurts!!! But I think they are good they stop you doing too much and checking yourself all the time like I am today! I've got see through waterproof plasters on so you can see lots of gory bits... but the strap does make you rather a funny shape and super itchy after a few days annnoooyyiiing.
zzzzzzzzzzz nitey nite

Re: March buddies
Haha at Katyox and Granny hunchback!!! I too am at home all day on my own for the first time....which will be quite nice! On such a sunshiney day too :) i have about 5-6 pillows sitting me up..one either side of my head to stop it from floppin either side....i tend to sleep with my hands clasped together on my tummy which makes me feel like a bit of a princess all in all!! Haha!!! I too think my awful bloated tummy is, I think, starting to go down....it helps that i am starting to be a little more 'regular'....thank goodness! I thought I was having a phantom pregnancy!!!!! Bruising on hand is getting better too...its all good...
Fingers crossed I get my strapping off tomorrow and unveil my new friends in their entirety!! Tee hee!!!
Chynna-Doll I did exactly the same!! Whiled my way through the Sunday not really knowing wha to do with myself but just pleased that the minutes and hours went by...and then ran out of time before bed so had to leave some jobs!!!! Anyway!!! Good Luck!!! Will look forward to hearing from you today some more!!
