Re: March buddies
Oh good Nepoly, glad you're having a good day, co-codamol on a full stomach is a much better idea!
Ok, so I won't forget my slippers. I haven't seen them since last week though, I think my son might have hidden them somewhere? He might have squeezed them under the couch or some other place as far as I know, it's the kind of thing he'd do
High fibre diet, and I'll get some lactulose, though when I had it after my second c-section it was on prescription when I requested it at the hospital. Perhaps I'll do the same again, I'm not sure if it's available over the counter? It made a huge difference, had I known I would have taken it after my first c-section too.

Roxanne - Yes you can buy lactulose over the counter. I've started writing a list of things to take with me as my head is like mush lol

Re: March buddies
Roxanne, the anaethetist prescribed me lactulose whilst I was in hospital and advised that I bought it over the counter when I got out as it is cheaper than on prescription. The co codamol was all ready and waiting for me first thing in the morning, we were ready to leave at 9.30 am - they really do look after you and are very efficient!
I really am nearly ready for a snooze now....but I have got my picturetrail up and running should anyone be interested...?
I will put a separate post up on the general forum too....I have to admit they the post op pics aren't pretty....I look very pregnant and the boobies are really quite squished together!!! You will also see how narrow I am at the top of my torso, compared to the hip area and why this BA will hopefully make such a difference in evening me all up!!
Let me know if you wanna sneeky peek!!

Hey Nepoly
So the pain isn't horrific? Hearing so many mixed messages and not sure what to believe I guess everyone has their own pain threshold though!
I'm having only 10cc more than you, partial anatomical so really curious to see what mine could be like! I'd love to see what mine could be like this time in 2 weeks eeeeek! Are you able to email pictures?
Just got one job interview today and then some freelance work at the weekend in which I'm hoping to impress and it's really hard to put off thinking about boobs to prepare for either :(
Half of me still wants to pull out of my op even though my fiance paid the outstanding balance yesterday :/
I know it's stupid but I'm going to be in such a blind panic just as they lie me down on the bed to put me under...doesn't bear thinking about.
I think I must be the biggest chicken ever...!

Hey Flourella!
I can say that I have not suffered much pain at all. If I lie still - there is no pain.....prob more pain on my cocyx from lying and on my back too than on my chest. When I sit up - that hurts, but it is momentarily and stops as soon as I am up....i also fnd having a little walk around helps too and just loosens up my back and bum and stops me from feeling all stiff. Sitting on the loo is nice too - cos it takes the pressure off my bum and on to my legs whilst I sit!! ha ha!!
I was dreadful when they took me in to the pre op room and asked me to lie down.....I was petrified....but I think the anaethetist sensed it and he tricked me...little stinker! We were mid flow conversation about holidays and....then I woke up!! tee hee!! They are used to it!! This was the first time I have had a GA and I won't worry about it again...it's just a bit weird that there was a whole hour and a half that I didn't even know existed!!
You're not the biggest chicken...there are a lot of us that feel and have felt the same as you - I promise.....but I also promise that there is nothing to worry about....and as the lovely ladies on here told me....you will be back here in a few weeks time, saying this to someone else!!!
So, you are having 330cc anatomical unders are you? good choice ;) I am hoping that once my strapping comes off and I can stand up properly that mine look a bit bigger than they do at the moment....don't wanna be Dolly Parton but equally I'd like to see a good difference! And I hope I haven't been too cautious :(

Hi girls, I realised that finally the poor dog is getting cose to the flower (refering to my ticker) I'm still not nervous/excited, what's wrong with me lol?! It's not very usual from my side. I think the excitement will hit me on the day... I hope you girls are doing well, Nepoly don't be scared of tomorrow or you'll bring the pain on to yourself. That's what happened to me with the sore throat. Just keep on top of the medications and stay on your bed/sofa if possible.roxanne wrote:So xaxa, you must be exctied it's your turn now!

Hey Nepoly
I just took a look - can't PM you back because I havent been on the forum long enough...rubbish!
You are EXACTLY the same as me pre BA - was like looking at my own boobs!
I think post look lovely...I can tell they are still really swollen and they look hard I bet you can't wait for them to drop they will look amazing!
I think you can get a real sense of how they will look in the last of the pics (the one before the cat one awww)
He seems to have bound you up very tight! I reckon you'll be a D when they are all healed.
Well done! :)
Off to my interview now, lets hope I can think of more than BAs and boobs when they ask me why I'm suitable for the position hahaha!
xx

Yes boss!! tee hee!! If you say so then I will most certainly do that!! Seen as I usually fly around like the proverbial blue bummed fly....I am quite enjoying this chill time out!!! And will make the most of it by doing as I please!! I am not going to undo any good work by being silly and over doing it - everything is pretty much under control with the house, kids and my business so I can be happy that I can sit back and recover whilst window shopping on all the lovely new underwear / bikinis / clothes I shall be wearing with my new figure!! ha ha!! (with a lot of exercise to tame the bottom/thigh areas!!!!
Nothing wrong with you xaxa - I had real mixed emotions and I suppose a bit of denial with regards to my BA and that it probably wouldn't happen!! But it did - and here I am!!
Two more sleeps!! What time do you have to be there and what is the time difference? one hour ahead of uk?

Thanks for letting me know, I'll make sure to buy some Lactulose.
Xaxa, it's good you're calm, I don't think there's anything wrong with that. I'm still not convinced it's happening even though I got my payment receipt from Mybreast, admission time, booked a hotel and train for the day before.
Flourella, hope your job interview went well. xxx

Thanks girls! It went well - as best as it could!
The work is set to start April 18 so it would be perfect if I got it as I'd be all healed (I hope!) by then!
Roxanne - I know, I'm nearly down to single figures and I'm like "this isn't happening" haha...
Anyone here told their parents? I'm 26 and I told my mum I was thinking of it. She was MORTIFIED! My fiance says don't tell her but I think I kind of should just incase anything bad happens...
Is it possible to keep it secret? She usually comes by every day to pick up my daughter for pre-school...eeekk!!

Oh also Nepoly, were you nervous about GA because you hadn't had one before? I had 2 in the past - in terms of dodgy reactions...does that mean I'm safe? Sorry lol I just seem to think everyone is a doctor and have got into the habit of asking silly questions haha!
Booked a follow up appointment with my surgeon to pick his brains more about my chances of things going wrong - I'm so damn NEGATIVE!
Oh another question for all girls - did any of you (or are you thinking of) selling/throwing old clothes? I've got a couple of tight dresses that will never fit! Thinking of ebaying them now!

Re: March buddies
Flourella I did post a reply to you but don't know where it's gone lol.
I told my mum last week I've booked my op. I'm 44 and still find it hard to tell my parents things, even though we're close. I see my parents every day so I wouldn't be able to keep it a secret. Plus my 4 year old would tell them mummy's poorly lol. When I told them I had been for consultation they both said I was mad. I've not told my dad yet. Mum said she was going to tell him this morning but didn't lol. We already know what he'll say, 'you're mad and how you paying for it?' lol.
As for clothes I'm hoping to still fit in mine. I took some tops and dresses with me when I went to try implants for size.

Hey hlt67!
Yeah I probed my mum saying "what would you say if..."
She said "that's on the same level as self mutilation"
Urhg, come on mum!! She said she wouldn't have a boob job if someone gave her £10,000 to have it done! haha
And we're the ones saving every penny to get the £4,000 to get it done!!
But she's not the one who has to turn around from her partner to get undressed before bed, and she's not the one who hates her boobs so much they feel disfigured, so I've reasoned that my heart is telling me to do this - therefore it must be right :)
There's 2 really tight dresses that will have to go for me :(
Our booby days are really close btw! What size are you going for?
xx

Flourella - I said I want to look a DD so I'm having 520cc implants, high profile, overs. Right now I wear 34c bras but my boobs are empty due to kids and loss of weight. I've been told I should be wearing a 32 band though, oops!
I've recently started seeing a guy but it's very early days. He's been great to be honest, keeping me confident about having the op. He also did say that I'm also fine if I don't have the BA but like I said to him it's for my self confidence

Hey honey x
I'm not with my daughter's father either...does it worry you incase BA goes wrong?
For me - this is such a long story - my ex's girlfriend has started STALKING me - honestly - she's harrassing me, I've had to change numbers and email...she's a nightmare...
I'm worried incase something will happen and she'll be the wicked stepmum and have my daughter forget all about me :(
It's so hard being a single parent, especially when you have to make big decisions like we are now :(
So glad I found this forum <3

Flourella, my mother has been very supportive. My mom's side of the family is very pro cosmetic surgery though. My mom
had an uplift when I was a child, and two of my cousins had ba's. She really wants to be with me to help me out after the op, but she's in Canada and about to move, there's no way I'd let her travel and spend her money on time for this when she's got enough going on. But I would love to have her hear more than anyone.
I'm not getting rid of any of my clothes other than old bras. I'm only getting 240 or 210, so I don't expect them to be any different than when I wear a very very well padded bra, which is what I've been doing recently so people don't notice the difference.
Your ex's girlfriend sounds like a psycho, sorry to be so blunt. Why would she be doing that? You'll be fine, and back to see your daughter right away xxx

Re: March buddies
Yes it does worry me but I have heard so many good reports on the surgeon I'm having.
Hey you'll be fine!! My ex harrassed me for a year after we split. Police charged him, he couldn't come near me for a year. That was 11 years ago. There is no communications between us at all. It still makes me laugh when he sees me, he walks the other way lol. Ask the police to have a word with her.
It is a hard decision but we are doing this for us, we deserve to be happy with ourselves. I have had my babies, I must say the last one was a surprise as I was 40 lol (my eldest daughter is 20, son 17, then daughter 4).
Without this forum I would have changed my mind about even seeing a consultant, now I'm booked in for two weeks time, SCARY !!!!

Hey x
Wow that's a surprise hlt67! a baby at 40...she was obviously meant to happen!
Roxanne, his girlfriend honestly is messed up. She is young and must feel threatened by me, even though we have NO contact at all! Police warned her but she's still continuing with the harassment. It's so boring!
Do you girls have any guardians appointed? I mean even if you were to walk into the road tomorrow and be knocked down (heaven forbid)
It's something I really need to do, even without BA approaching, my ex's girlfriend's behaviour is so worrying, and no matter what he's my daughter's next of kin....crap!
Coming down with a cold from my little girl and I've got shift work at a national newspaper this weekend...rubbish timing! At least it will be out of the way for my BA :)
