Second opinion on my expensive ugly Boobs today
I have been unhappy with my breasts since they were done 4 months ago and they only seem to get worse. I have been back to see my Dr who wants me to pay another $6500 to fix them by putting in a 395cc high profile extra firm teardrop implant. I think he is being a scrouge, $2500 of the total price is his fee and I dont feel as I should have to pay that. He was the one who allowed ( and recomended) me to have an implant that was to small for my breast tissue and placed the implant to high. He also said I couldnt go bigger because I was at risk of a double fold which I have ended up with because of the implant being to small .
Its all been alot to deal with and I am so sick of looking at them. So hears hoping I get some good advice today. I am really wanting to make sure that the new implant is right I dont want to go through this agian!

oh gosh hun what a nightmare, would it be worth seeing another surgeon and getting a second opinion? if this original surgeon has fu*ked up, then no, you shouldn't have to pay the fee. may help ur case to get some opinions from other surgeons xxx

So sorry to hear that L2R. It sounds like crazy money considering he's completely got it wrong.
Best of luck for your second opinion, hun. Let us know how you get on xx

Blimey - I hope you have a good second opinion too and find someone better able to give you what you need.
Your PS sounds a bit of a scrooge you are right (and a bit of another word I probably shouldnt say!!) - SURELY he should do the re-op for free - especially as he was the one who recommended what you needed.
Dont know the rules surrounding this but as someone else has already said there are ladies on here that definately do.
Hope you get sorted, really feel for you. xxx

The nerve of your ps, it was his mistake, not yours. He should be operating you for free. Did you go through a company or a private practice? I would definately get more opinions from other surgeons. xxx

Re: Second opinion on my expensive ugly Boobs today
Sorry to hear your unhappy hun, maybe it is worth getting a second opinion from someone else, and if your not going to get it done for free & you want to pay then you should look at another ps...although you shouldnt be paying anything if your unhappy because of the surgeons work.

If I were you,I would cut his balls off!!!...don't let him touch you never ever again!!I'm sorry hun,but you are right..who is this surgeon?...you must get another opinion and you shouldn't pay penny for correcting HIS mistake!...If I were you I'd tell him to fix me or we see each other in court!..no more money for this "surgeon"..I'm sorry, for being rude now but I can't believe what you are saying!..and he dares to ask for money???....shoot him!!

Re: Second opinion on my expensive ugly Boobs today
Thanks girls for your thoughts. My appt wasnt quite what I expected as the PS said that he thinks that considering my before that I havent had a bad result not good but not bad. He sugested maybe having a nipple lift to help give them a more perkier look but if I have to have another surgery I want them bigger. Dont feel like going through all this again for tiny boobs! . My Dr had suggested a larger impant but over instead of partials the so that it can fill out my breast tissue better but that would be another $6500. I am a little apprehensive to have overs as I dont want to have a line from where the implant is. I have seen some girls on here with beautiful breasts with overs so make the decission all that more harder to make. Opal yours look fab!
I just want them fixed as it is consuming me. I really dont care that I have to pay now as the side affects of all this is to much.
thanks agian for the support

Re: Second opinion on my expensive ugly Boobs today
I think a nipple lift and overs sounds like a good option. I understand your concerns with overs, but I really want these instead of unders. If the ps chooses the right implant you should be fine. Though if your athletic like me and have very little fat, you may prefer not going too big if you want to avoid the implant showing much and rippling showing much. On the other hand, they will drop very naturally, and you won't see your old crease like you do with unders when you don't have a lift. But if you really do prefer unders, because these have their advantages like covering up the implant better, then if you have the lift this should solve the problem. It's just really important that when you have unders that the breasts are lifted so that you don't see the old crease/breast as the implants are supporting by the muscles unlike overs.
So just to clarify, have you seen more than one surgeon for more opinions? I still don't undertand why your PS is charging you for the reop when it was his mistake. I hope you get it sorted, I'm sure you'll make the right decision

Thanks chick! (and thanks missy! just seen your comment too :) )
You are more than welcome to see my pics if that helps? I am a slim build and didn't think I had enough tissue for overs - which you will understand when you see my before pics! Was so pleased when my PS said I did and they don't show through at all. xx

Re: Second opinion on my expensive ugly Boobs today
Love2run, I'm very sorry for you :o( I can't understand how he expects you to pay if he did a bad job. What about asking for a partial refund? He should pay back the surgeon's fee (at least). If he refuses, start threatening him that you're going to sue him. Good luck!
