Blimey expensive!!!:(help girls!
Hey guys!
I decided to go for allergan soft touch inspira implants with transform, and they usually charge 3495 with their standard implants, but I've just been quoted for the inspira implants 5300!!!! which is a huge jump! i thought it would only cost about 500 more with those implants! help guys does anyone else think this is a lot more for these implants?! has anyone has these implants for cheaper? or with transform for this price? dam not a happy bunny:(xxxxx

Re: Blimey expensive!!!:(help girls!
that is some huge jump in price there!!
I am no expert on implant types and prices etc so am unable to advise you here but am sure some of the the girls will know whether this is the usual cost or not, i agree it seems a steep jump in price though!! x x

Wow, that's gotta be wrong !
I paid 5250 for allergan inspiras through mybreast and that's including a nipple lift.
It's absolutely got to be a mistake!

I'm not sure how much Transform charge for them. I went with the Nuffield and paid £4250 for them as standard - he would've done anatomical for that price too! £5300 does sound a lot!

Re: Blimey expensive!!!:(help girls!
I paid £400 more with Mybreast to upgrade from CUI to Inspira soft touch. That sounds like a Harley Medical Group type price hyke. I would phone them up and query it. Let us know how you get on x

Re: Blimey expensive!!!:(help girls!
Right girlies update on implants! i rang them up and said how that was a hell of a lot more and I quoted the prices other companies were offering and said ill b takin my business elsewhere if you can't lower this considerably, so they quoted me 4700 instead of 5300 so thats a 600 savin! so its close to the mybreast quote of 4650, its still a lot but at least I haggled them down!:)xxxxx

Glad to hear you got it down quite a bit - what a cheek of them to ask for that much extra!! I think that's completely terrible
Good for you for querying it though!

Re: Blimey expensive!!!:(help girls!
I was told Inspiras cost around £1000 so it sounds like they're overcharging there
Re: Blimey expensive!!!:(help girls!
thanks guys! yeah im pleased they are a lot cheaper! and yeah I read that too nads! i think i may see if I can haggle them down even more cause my boob op was originally 3500 so with the inspira implants on top that's still 1200 more! aarrghh:(xxxx

Re: Blimey expensive!!!:(help girls!
hey! ive just been chattin wiv the woman at transform and they wont knock it down anymore:( apparently they are expensive as they don't do them that often at transform....so im considering just going on the CUI implants as they are very similar in their properties but don't have the FDA and lifetime guarantee, but suppose with the CUI 10 years guarantee that doesn't necessarily mean they won't last longer.....i just don't think its worth papying 1200 more for the soft touch implants, how annoying tho! xxxxx

Re: Blimey expensive!!!:(help girls!
Is that the hospital quoting you on the price? I was quoted £5975 for Allegan Naturelle implants - but it was a fixed cost price including surgeon, anesthetics, consultations, aftercare. I thought it was ridiculously high - and then found the surgeon operated out of two other private hospitals - one was £4525, the other £4600.
Still lots of money, but what a huge difference! When i got the first price I told them to go back and ask the surgeon how they could justify that! I got a call from his secretary saying how its the hospital who hike the price, and the surgeon suggested the other two hopsitals where it was cheaper ! (but she said dont say i said so!)

Re: Blimey expensive!!!:(help girls!
I'd guess it's probably cause they don't hold them in stock so to speaak... Maybe they are harder to work with.
Seems alot of money, I went with transform got regular implant thy use and I'm v happy... I decided to put the extra money Inspiras would havecost towards job 2 which it's likely I'll want doing in 10 years if they sag!! (or let face it I have booby greed and might just do it all again once skins stretched enough... So greedy!)

Re: Blimey expensive!!!:(help girls!
Hi hun,
Even though they've knocked it down abit, itstill seems abit steep to me?????? My BA came to £4900 with those implants, but mine would be more expensive for the following reasons:
Allegan inspira soft touch (£400 extra)
Also they were over 525cc's so more expensive (not sure how much)
This was my second BA so they charge to remove old implant too (I think another £400)
I didn't go with transform, this maybe why, but still it's alot more than what I would have thought is a reasonable price. Sounds like they are looking to make a pretty hefty profit out of allergan's name.

Re: Blimey expensive!!!:(help girls!
That does sound a big jump in the price. Overall price tho its not much different to what im paying. Im going private, having Perouse sensitive implants and including 1 night stay, pre-op tests, post-op bras & years aftercare appointments its £5227. Im putting some on there finance deal (0% for 10 months) x
