nipples killing me.. Empty nipples killing me..

hey everyone.. my nipples are killing me.. its so red and sore.. i cant touch them.. having them touch the bra is torture.. and especially when i walk.. they rub against it.. i have like big cotton covering them.. like the one they use in the hospital to cover the scar.. but still.. and i put lansinoh a very good cream for sore nipples that i still have since i was breastfeeding.. but nothing is helping !!!
any thoughts anyone.. its really painful hissy

Hi hun, sounds like they are very sensitive due to the nerves healing. I have the same. Mine feel quite numb but at the same time like needles whenever they brush against anything! I am sure you will find this eases in time Hun, though I don't have any advice I'm afraid. Perhaps someone else can help! xxx

me too.. they are numb.. but at the same time terribly sensitive.. if they brush against anything it feels like a knife touching a wound..
how long have you had it sensitive like that ?

It goes away eventually girls :)

My nipples were little singy balls of fire for a good few weeks there! I thought I was going to end up with sex crazed nipples which always seemed ready for action, but then they settled down. And now I slightly miss them ;)

You can't help it - its just your nerves. They will settle down soon, lol

i really hope so.. i just called my doctor.. he said its normal and he cant tell me when it will go.. he says its a good sign... it means i havent lost my sensation.. i dont know... its just hurts alot.. even from the side of my breasts.. the outer side.. the skin feels so raw and its stinging me..
cant wait to be normal

Yeh they will settle eventually hun!, i have one thats senstive and the other is totally numb!..which by the way is really weird. I seem to have constant nipple erections too lol how nipples killing me.. 375568

i had this problem for quite a while it wasnt just my nipples but the areola as well id read somewhere to moisturise them so i did and they improved loads im 3 months post op now and my left is completley normal but my right still feels like electric shocks when touched but its no where near as bad as it was hang on in there it will improve x

I just used my normal moisturiser but I made sure I didn't put any near my incisions x
