Question about Mondors Cord :( Empty Question about Mondors Cord :(

Post by mistyhoney 21st November 2011, 9:16 pm

Sorry for starting another post but don't think anyone saw my question in the thread below! Ok so I've found 2, 1 under each breast and they are really sore and quite stingy :( I read that it's good to massage them and even a soak in the bath which il do tonight now that my incisions are healing well! I was just wondering if I can make them any worse? I only started to notice the first one while I was carrying my son on my hip and it really hurts lol so will they just go away in their own time and I just carry on as normal while massaging ect or try and stop lifting my son so much ect? Any other info about these would be helpful too thanks!!

Hey sweetie,
I noticed mine too, to be honest they've gone right down on their own, I've hardly touched them cos I don't really like the feel of them :s
I can only really see them when I'm stretched out. They're pretty painful though aren't they?! X

Its a swelling in the vien and very common after breast augmentation, they can be sore but painkillers will help if they get a bit stingy some days. They do go away on their own so no need to worry about them.

Check other threads too, I THINK some PS tell you that warm moist heat on the cord can help it go down?? I'm not sure though, but it's def on here somewhere! Question about Mondors Cord :( 267328

Hey hun, mine has totally gone now and I did absolutely nothing to it. My nurse said to massage it to loosen it up. I did it a couple of times but forgot tbh, it's nothing to worry about :) x
