Mondors cord
Had my post op check last night was all a bit rushed as my PS got held up at another hospital in theatre so he was 40mins late to his clinic. He was happy with how I am healing and said how natural they look already. He removed the excess glue that was peeling off and said all looked good around my scars. Spoke to him about a few niggles and he said they are prob just that and will calm down but he will see me in a month for my 6 week check and see how I am then. When home I saw that under my right boob I quite clearly have mondors cord :( he never mentioned it when examining my scars. When I touch it it really hurts around my rib under my boob. I have been healing so well knew it was too good to be true!xx

Re: Mondors cord
Mondors cod is nothing to be concerned about lovely and doesn't require any surgical intervention it does go away on its own.
It can as you say though sometimes be quite painful. Massaging the vein the vein does help ease the pain though and will help it to settle down for you. Xx

Aw hun as the girls have said it's nothing to be concerned about and will go on its own. Try not to worry and take some pain killers if it become sore.
