Re: Mondors cord :(
Have you spoken to your nurse? Best to get all complications (no matter how small or how big) noted in your files in case you need anything down the line. Apart from that, there's not much else I can suggest. Hope the pain eases up lovely.

Re: Mondors cord :(
Thank you Roxy I hope so too.
Not spoken to anyone, I went private so I will just email my PS I guess thats probably the best option for me xxxxx.
Caz its something to do with the vains near the incision sight going tight or something like that. But when you lift your breast you can see the cords pulling. and it really does hurt. think you can find it on here or even google it x

Aw hun, I didn't have it, but a few girls have, try a cold compress or ice pack on it to help with the discomfort and take some pain killers if it gets too much.
Re: Mondors cord :(
Oh Misf its really uncomfortable, I have just emailed my PS so hopfully he will get back to me soon xxxxxxxx
Re: Mondors cord :(
Hun, I just had a quick google on it and best thing seems to be a hot compress, So maybe a hot waterbottle. Maybe your Dr can prescribe you something. In an attempt to cheer you up, I also found this out, men can get mondors chord too, in a very painful place for them, mwuhahaha.

Re: Mondors cord :(
Thats exactly what happened to me hun I thought it was odd where I was getting the discomfort then after I'd noticed it going on for a day or so I lifted up the booby and there it was so I googled it and found out what it was. My clinic weren't concerned just said its a common side effect and should sort itself out but to keep an eye on it xx
