I'd suggest going one band-size up, I was always a 34 and went 36 and I'm still wearing the 36 sportsbra and it's comfy

Very helpful advice - thanks Bronzewolf. I wasn't aware of Macom before. I'll give my La Senza one a couple of days, then my M&S one, but if they are not comfortable then Macom may be my next port of call.

My problem is the shoulder straps - I'm tall (5' 11") with high shoulders so I need long straps. Shock Absorber bras were hopeless for me - the cups were just under my chin, even with the straps at full extension!

Any other tall women out there who can recommend Macom as having decent length shoulder straps?

Thanks again. Dawn x

Oh, and also overs vs. unders - with unders, it's very difficult to reach behind you and use your muscles to fasten a bra.

Overs this may be easy.

Another option is one you can step in to.
