Re: not allowed chinese food!
I wasn't told this! I had a Chinese like 4 hours after my op (hardly touched it) but yeah haha, maybe it is about the MSG but that's in all sorts of things like crisps and microwave meals? xx

Re: not allowed chinese food!
lol!! us girls and our bloody balls
i have re-read the information, it says;
for a speedy recovery, avoid the following;
chinese food for 14 days.
so if you've had one, don't panic!! if ur swelling isn't too bad and ur healing is ok, don't panic!!
Vicci i totally agree hun, well up for it!!!
xxxxxxxxxx

- Certain medications should be avoided before any surgeries (the ones that cause bleeding). Vitamin E, aspirin, Advil, Motrin, Aleve, even Chinese Food (which contains Woodier mushrooms, which cause bleeding). Wintergreen mints should also be avoided (Wintergreen has a variant of aspirin in it salicylic acid (check with your ps!!!!!)

Re: not allowed chinese food!
I had to have blood tests done a while ago to test me for a clotting disorder and before the test was done they asked me not to eat indian food or any food that contained lot's of spices and garlic etc as it thins the blood and effects clotting which would have affected my platelet test results so I assume that's why some companies are asking to avoid.
Glad your ok though hun and you can enjoy x
