I wasn't allowed to have cayenne pepper or garlic after - so no thai or chinese food for me!

Re: not allowed chinese food!
Wow...what the?! I've never heard of that before...to be honest with you all, my PS never even advised me to not eat anything I didn't want to after my BA. I didn't think or know that food could affect your booby healing process....strange.

Re: not allowed chinese food!
Hahahahaha!!! you girls are funny !! but on a serious note i know that most chinese restaurants add MSG to their sauces to "add the flavour" which can mess with your hormones (me and my bf always have an arguement in the chinese!!) maybe it has something to do with this, just a wild guess!
be careful with your balls xxx

Re: not allowed chinese food!
I think it might be to do with sodium content (both MSG and regular salt) causing water retention ie. swelling. I was thinking about this earlier today because I was planning to have a big ole pizza as soon as the GA was truly out of my system but it suddenly struck me how salty they tend to be and how you wouldn't want to encourage swelling

Re: not allowed chinese food!
went fot my pre op appointment today and was told not to eat chinese food a week before the op and two weeks after. Something to do with the amount of salt. Gutted!

Re: not allowed chinese food!
It also may have to do with the salt. I was told to limit my salt intake to help limit the swelling.
