I've read on here about the no Chinese food for two week after, but I wondered if this just refers to the meat because I am vegetarian would that be ok or...? All I want is chips sweet n sour sauce and some noodle n bean sprouts- or veg in a black bean sauce mmmmm! Dammmit !

I don't see why it should be an issue? Perhaps the thought is to avoid garlic but even so I don't think the quantities consumed would be enough to have any bearing on blood thinning. I wasn't advised not to, but maybe someone will be along and correct me!

No it's due to the MSG in all Chinese foods, so it's 2 weeks to avoid it for x

I think it may have something to do with salt as well as msg hun as too much salt can worsen the swelling and fluid retention we have post op.
but o reckon one treat won't hurt ;) were already having to give up so much while we heal, all be worth it in the end xx

Its a mixture of things, including the ingredients. A lot of them have blood thinning properties, which obviously isn't best if you're healing!
