Healthy food after BA?
Hi everyone, since having my BA I'm trying to eat as well as possible, lots of fresh fruit, salad, protein and less sugary stuff with tons of water. It's made me feel better about my recovery so far but hoping I will keep it up. My hubbie got a food plan from the gym so we are loosely following this, plenty of healthy snacks like nuts, bananas, apples and peanut butter yum. I did have big pizza blow out last night but made me feel weird and bloated!!!
But did anyone else feel they benefited from a good diet after BA, did u avoid alcOhol for a while, if so how long ?
I really want to do my best for my own recovery so any tips on food and diet be great!!!
Xxx

I also ate healthy and i felt loads better for it. I've seen some of the girls say on here that eating healthy can speed up the recovery - meats etc as they are a natural healer so you're definitely doing the best for your body! Xx

I did the same, lots of fresh fruit and veg, healthy snacks, I didn't touch alcohol for about 2 months after my BA, I was too scared to lol. I did suffer with terrible constipation though, which I had to use lactulose and senna to relieve. But I felt my recovery was easy and pain free.

I'm not sure whether it makes that much difference to the recovery or not but eating healthy always makes me feel much better. I have been following slimming world for 5 years and when I do go off plan I feel bloated and sluggish. I think all round a healthy diet is the way to go :)
