finally starting to like what i see....

so Im now 17 days post my exchange surgery from expanders to implants and some of you will know i have been majorly stressed the whole time as ive had some swelling and tentign goin on! had major blues and been feeling pretty bllerr...

anyway today for the first time I did the daily ritual of standing in the mirror arms up arms down, bikini on, bra on...and I liked them!! wont say love yet..but i took a few pics and all the others i delete cause i thought thy looked hideous, but i like these!!! hubbie says some of the swelling has def gone down and i think i can see it too....YAY! see surgeon tomorrow too so even more reasuurance will be great! I finally dont think i have symmastia! just some tenting......PHEW!

What is tenting? Is it where the skin on your cleavage is pulled up like a tent or something?

had an appt with the surgeon today and he can see exactly what my concerns are and agrees with me that the implants are too wide. He thinks that going down from 495 to 450 might be enough..itll give me a 1cm narrower implants but ill only lose 1/2 cm projection.. im going to leave it 6 weeks and then book in for yet enother op. Im very excited though and so happy someone finally understands that they dont look right to me!! he was extremely apologetic that id have to have another surgery but i understand sometimes these things happen! I told him i thought i was getting symmastia and he said my muscles are def still all good (when i tense they seperate alot) so it basically is just trying to squeeze in a wide implant..which i did push him for!! LOL



oh and a tissue expander is a temp iplant they use to stretch the skin before impants, used in breast reconstruction.

so happy dance here nd cannot wait to get my newest boobies!!!!
