Quick, Decision?
Hi girls!
since my first consultation all I can think about is getting my boobies, I'm so tempted to just book in with the surgeon I have already seen without seeing anyone else,
Would this be a foolish choice and should I wait until I have had another oppinion?
Did you all have a few consulations first or did any of you go with the first surgeon you saw?
I loved the hospital and the staff there when I went and had a look around, and I've seen my friends results from the same surgeon,
If I book him now I can get them done on the 5th September but if I wait to see the others that I have a consultation booked with I could be waiting alot longer,
what do you think?
xx

Re: Quick, Decision?
Hi I booked the first place i went to because they made me feel at easy no pressure in selling me what i wanted and answered my questions with out any problems before i booked it .
No idea how many times i phoned them before i even booked with questions lol but they where really nice it wasnt too much trouble to answer to them .
Its up to you ...quiet a few people go for different consultations at different places its down to personal choice xx

I also booked with the only surgeon I met too. Ive seen him 3 times from my first consult. He was just really honest and put me at ease. My mum also works in healthcare and he was very well known with her friends that are surgeons and came recommended so that helped make up my mind too. Xxx

Re: Quick, Decision?
Thanks girls. I do feel completely at ease with this surgeon and he didn't give me any preside to book the surgery, we chatted about dates but that's only because I asked him,
The friend that had hers done by him also works in healthcare and spent a year researching him before she went ahead,
Feels like I'm taking the easy route by using someone already researched but hey it gets me my boobies quicker!!
I'm off for a second consultation on Friday!
So excited again now, I've got a consultation with transform on Saturday so I'll still go to that but I don't think it's with the surgeon but it's still worth going!
I love this site - you girls are great x x

Aw hun, it is exciting and if you are comfortable with the surgeon its you choice. I did have two consults and went with the second one. You have to go with who you feel comfortable with. It is exciting tho, i have 18 days still. xxx

Re: Quick, Decision?
I only met with 1 surgeon too. I had already decided I wanted him before I met him based on his reviews etc. When I met him I thought he was very to the point and not very chatted but I could tell he knew his stuff. My pc was also great so I booked there and then xx

Re: Quick, Decision?
I'm going with the only surgeon I've seen as well.
I went to an open evening of his at the Spire over 12 months ago where he showed a slide show of his work and there was a buffet and drinks, but I only had my individual consultation about 6 weeks ago.
He seemed to be very knowledgeable and told me I'd need an uplift as well, so I've booked with him. My surgery is on Thursday. I got a good feeling about him and did my research, so I think I'm going to be happy.

Re: Quick, Decision?
I have to say I am shocked at how many girls have rushed into this without getting 2nd/3rd opinions. It is a very exciting time and it can take over our brains. I can also understand the "I want them now" feeling. But I like to see it as when you go out and buy a dress for an important occasion or wedding dress even, would you go to only one shop? nooooooooooooo and you'll probably only wear this dress once! You have those boobs for years. What if what your surgeon said is not right for you? How would you know? you have nothing to compare it to. It's very easy to get carried away in the excitment of it all, and yes I know how lovely they can make you feel and the PCC's will seem like they have your interests at heart. But no one and I mean no one except you has what you want at heart.
My advice is to compare surgeons, not clinics (unless it's aftercare provided). How many girls on here wish they went bigger? what if the 2 surgeons you seen after the first surgeon had suggested bigger and you had got the boobs you wanted. What if 2 surgeons out of 3 said you needed a lift? Instead of thinking what if, go find out for sure. If they all say pretty much the same thing. Its a very exciting time, but dont get carried away. Always get other opinions. I'm sorry if I offend anyone but people really should never rush into surgery and should never encourage anyone else to do so. You may be lucky but they may not.

Re: Quick, Decision?
I totally agree misf1, it is such a big decision. I so wish I had done more research when I first had my first ba. It may just have saved me from having dangerous implants put into me. Not just once but twice!!
Must however admit that just before my 3rd ba I again went with the one surgeon I had met. However I had seen him 3 years previously when at that time he talked me out of surgery. When I went back last year he agreed now was the right time, no pressure, no hard sales. I researched him and that's how I found this wonderful site as he is John Davison and his care for me has been totally brilliant!
Saying all that I have to say ladies, please please get those other opinions and realise that just because these surgeons are nice doesn't always mean they ate great!!

Re: Quick, Decision?
PS just cancelled Fridays consultation because of riots so I've got some breathing space before I see him again which is now on 22nd August,
I am provisionally booked in for surgery on 5th September but this will nit been confirmed until 22nd aug.
I now have a couple of weeks for second opinions,
I feel relieved that I'm waiting no matter how desperate I am.

Re: Quick, Decision?
That's good hun. Even if you do decide to go with the 1st surgeon in the end at least you will have seen others so you will know you made the right choice.
Re: Quick, Decision?
i will see a few i like to look into things alot before i go through with something - but if you already have seen friends results from the surgeon and they seem happy then hes obviously reputable - i dont have any friends with a ba so i cant be recommended anyone so thats why ill have to look around. The only thing id say is if you look around and get prices off different people the one you like you can then try and haggle the price down if another is cheaper xxx
