decisions on size!!

Hi everyone! Hope you all had a good xmas! Time to concentrate on boobies again now!! I've had my consultation and was recommended between 265 and 320 overs. Did the rice test and now not sure they will be big enough although dont want to look ridiculous! Driving myself crazy thinking should I go bigger, should I go with recomendations etc. etc. !!!! Need to chat with someone who has similar concerns!!

Sizing is a very individual thing Misty and even a woman with the exact same stats as yourself who had the exact same size implant as the ones you're thinking of could have very different results to you even though you're exactly the same....in theory...

The reason for this is because even though your stats may be the same you may have more/less breast tissue than the other women, you may have more/less overall body fat, your breasts may lay differently, you may have a wider/narrower cleavage, your rib cage may be wider/narrower, your rib cage may concave or protrude... All these factors along with many more are what will determine your resulting size and as we each have an anatomy that is unique to each of us, the little factors that can matter a lot when determining your resulting size hun...

I'd personally advise anyone with sizing concerns to go back and see their surgeon. Take a picture with you of boobs with the size you like, ideally on women with a similar body type as yourself to give a more realistic idea of what might possibly be achieved. Because your surgeon doesn't work in cup sizes but in volume (CCs) this helps them so much is determining how many CCs might be needed to achieve 'the look' you want rather than the 'the size' you want and also having the pic makes it far easier for you to explain what you're hoping for and have you walking away from your surgeon knowing you we're both reading from the same page and understood each other completely.

This hopefully will then leave you confident you and your surgeon have made the right decision. If youre still unsure though, do keep going back until you feel 100% confident youre happy with all of your surgery plan. Xxx

I would say the rice boobs look a bit bigger than the implants when they're actually in, so if you have that worry I would definitely go back and see your surgeon to go over sizes again.

misty what cup size roughly are u now and what are you hoping for. size is always a worry with most of us it was and stillnis with me xx

What's weird with rice boobs is I tried 300 and loved them, then I tried 260 on the weekend and they look loads better - try different sizes hun x

Thanks for all advice ladies. I wear a 32C at the mo but thats such a lie!!!I am prob a 34a/b. 5ft 6in and size 8 bottoms, 10 top. I've tried different 'rice' amounts and def feel more comfortable with more in! Been looking at pics and printed some off to take to surgeon to give him a better idea. As I am really slim at the top I dont like the round 'stuck on' round look so maybe I should just stick with smaller to suit my frame although I dont want to go through all this and wish I'd gone bigger. Arrrgghh so many decisions.

Go with what your surgeon recommends, he's the expert and he's actually seen your boobs and knows what you want to achieve. Bigger isn't always better x

i got 360cc unders and i know im going to have the round look but its not as rounx as i thought but they are a nice size im in a 34d sportsbra just now but my surgeon i will prob go to a dd cup when ive dropped and fluffed bigger than my full c i wanted but u can hide them well if ur not wanting to show them off. def go with surgeons advice xx

I too was having concerns about which size to pick so I went back and tried on the implant sizers again. I'm so glad I did as it made my decision so much easier. I've decided on 410 instead of 460. Tho I still have a week to change my mind

Size is the biggest nightmare to decide on xx

Did you try implant sizers with your surgeon Vickey? I didn't try anything he just showed me one implant for the feel and texture. Maybe thats what I should do so I get more of a realistic approach.

I've got the same stats as you Hun and I'm having 300 high profiles in 12 days, reckon ill get a D cup but who knows!! Ill let in know how I get on xx

Definitely take pics in. My surgeon suggested rice boobs to me but said it could be inaccurate. It sounds ridiculous but I pulled my palms away from my breasts and said " I want to be like this!", then I tried on a few sizes. I knew straight away when I tried the implant in a sports bra it was right. I guess I was lucky! I knew exactly what I wanted. .. But as Cookie says its not exact! I have ended up 2 cup sizes bigger! But not complaining!! My surgeon stressed that most of his post op patients only complaint is that they hadn't gone bigger. Good luck, but listen to your surgeon, I was told I couldn't go any bigger anyway, and looking at them I know he was 100% right . :thumbs:

Yes I tried 3 sizes on with my surgeon and went back a second time to try them on again but without my surgeon as he could't make it. You should deffinately try them on both with your top on and off. Purhaps ask for another appointment x
