Hello! I'm about 3 weeks post-op and just now feel I can REALLY clean my house like before. I was able to do light housework one week after, but I couldn't vacuum and sweeping, changing the bed sheets and doing the laundry were difficult! I definitely needed help!

My suggestion is to do a very thorough cleaning right before your op so you won't have to worry for a while.

I did nothing for 2 weeks then I started back but just did things slower and less vigorous and spread the chores over the days instead of all at once. I did not vaccume though for a month... Doctors orders!

I am a clean freak, so it was hard to not have things to my standard in the first 6 weeks but the time flys and it's all worth it.

Thanks both.

It was just a question that cam to me while i was doing my cleaning last night lol.

I can't sit in my flat if it is too much of a mess so I will give it a very good clean the day before my op and then I will rope my mum and sister in to come and do it for me about 10 days later lol xx
