Re: September Buddies!
Yeah it's always best to do what they say! I'm sure the time will fly by anyway. I cant believe how long ago it was since I first booked the op! Plus you'll be in nice bra's and bikini's by summer! xxx

louise_vaa wrote:Hope all you September girls are healing well! I had my 3 week check up today and was told I'm healing really well and next week I can wear a normal bra and start jogging! I'm so excited, I thought I'd have to wait another 2 weeks! I think I'll just get 1 underwire bra to start off with as they may change loads still! Hope the rest of you are feeling back to normal now! Xxx
That's not fair! I've been told absolutely NO running for at least 6 weeks! Although I must admit, that's the last thing I feel like doing at the moment as my boobs are also VERY sensitive, especially on the outside edges. Also took a peek at my new nips yesterday (they used to be inverted).... they're HUGE!!! I've gone from one extreme to another! At least I'll have somewhere to hang my handbag...!
I'm struggling to find a comfy sports bra at the moment. Can anyone recommend a good one for sleeping in?
Glad to hear everyone is healing so well and comforting to hear others are stressing about every twinge and ache like me!!

Re: September Buddies!
Thanks nikita - I think I'll check those out. I've got the same one as you have in your avatar, but it gets really uncomfortable after a while. Maybe I've got the wrong size? I feel a bit self conscious going to get measured with my new fake boobs! I'm sure they must see it all the time though.

Re: September Buddies!
Ive got a sports bra from primark, I find it really comfortable to sleep in plus it's only £4!!
Peapod - I was really suprised too, he said to take it easy at first so I'll have to see if it's comfortable. I really hope so, I miss exercise so much, it's such a great stress reliever! I'll let you know how I get on. Xxx

Re: September Buddies!
Doh! Just ordered a £36 Macom bra!! I could've bought 9 Primark bras for the same price!!
I'm going to sneek to the gym on Monday and try the bike and maybe the cross trainer (without the arms). I think I'm more worried about how I'll look in my gym kit! There's no hiding the fact that I've got 'additions' in those tight tops! Enjoy your first run Louise - very jealous! x

Re: September Buddies!
Ha ha ha! I used to wear a padded bra in the gym otherwise I was worried I'd get mistaken for a bloke!! I think I'm going to feel a bit self-conscious at first, and my boobies are nowhere near as impressive as yours nikita..... OMG, I'm developing boob envy - they said this would happen! x

Re: September Buddies!
They're fantastic - you must be so happy! I feel quite small in comparison!
I wasn't told that I couldn't have fully submerged baths, so I'm assuming it was ok - ooops! To be honest, I was only fully submerged for about 5 minutes to soften up the steristrips and also to help get the dressing off one of my troublesome nips which was particularly gruesome! I couldn't get it off, but I'd already got it wet so there was no turning back - I spent ages in there trying to coax it off! All done now though which is a huge relief! x

Re: September Buddies!
I had my 3 week check up yesterday with my PS and it went so well! He was very happy with my progress, and I don't need to go back to see him for another 6 months! Scars are looking good, and he's happy he's balanced out my size nicely, etc :D
Only bad thing was that last night I had the most TERRIBLE post-boobie nightmare! I haven't had any boobie dreams the whole time.. but last night I dreamed that after my check up and getting the thumbs up, I went home and took off my bra to shower and the implants just dropped out of their pockets and sunk down to the middle of my stomach and just sat there! So I had my old empty boobs, and these mountains on my stomach! And I tried to wiggle them back up into the pockets and hold them back in place with my bra while trying to call my PS, but it was after hours and I couldn't get hold of him. Then I noticed the internal stiches growing out through my skin!! Freaked out, woke up in a panic, felt my boobs and realised everything was where it was supposed to be and thought "Well that was scary..."

Re: September Buddies!
Scary dreams!!
I havent had any boob dreams at all but every now and then If I lift or move something (not heavy) I get a wierd sensation on the bottom of my boobs near the incisions, think they are falling out and check to make sure they are still in place.
My bra was KILLING me today, it seems so much tighter than earlier in the week. Do you girls think the boobs could have grown in a few days or is the bra likely to have shrunk in the wash??
