I dont think anyone has noticed but I did get see my boobs getting checked out by someone at a meeting yesterday... I felt strangely proud September Buddies! - Page 30 899188

My mum doesnt know and Ive seen her a few times over the past 2 weeks - I dont think she has spotted... yet...PHEW!!!

really loopy lou bet she notices once ur in proper bras lol!! i just think the sports bras do so little for u my sis even said today they don't look that big in ur bra out of ur bra there massive :( i've gone up 5 sizes i should bloody hope they are lol xx

hi ladies im 6 weeks post op now measuring a 32 dd at m&s my boobs are doing ok hopefully got a check up this week, how do everyones feel now mine still feel tender at the sides and under my scars, have finally managed to sleep on my side and still wearing my sports bras to bed due to my nipples of fire which i must add have improved slightly over the last couple of weeks and i can now tolerate the shower on them, boobs still pretty firm especially first thing in the morning and still not really moving any where was getting impatient about this so checked how long it takes to soften up in my info pack it says 45-60 days so hopefully it wont be to long now anyone else getting frustrated in playing the waiting game, i just wanna show them off in a nice bra and top x hope you all well and enjoying them xx

hey shirtripper i'm 3 weeks tomorrow boobies are tender allover just wish my skin would thicken back up now!! i have one nipple of doom can't touch it without wincing lol!! mine are now soft enough to push together a little but very hard in the morning and get achey in the evening if i've had a busy day!! 32dd u must be happy they look great in avatar, i'm currently measuring 32f but got a long way to go till recovery is over i suspect xx

Shirtripper - Im sooooo impatient too, cant wait for a bit of roundness, softening and cleavage.
Im starting to wonder if anatomical unders was such a great idea as I would really love some more upper pole.

Its back to the waiting game and time will tell I guess... oh well!!!!!!

i just thought 525 sounded soooooooooo big and now i think next time i know i want bigger mind u i think thats cause of these sportsbras cause when i put them in a bikini top the other day i thought wowzer lol!!

was anatomical unders what was recommended? what profile r urs? xx

mine are high profiles but im hoping that the muscle still needs to relax a bit and they will fluff.

I was offered overs but the surgeon would only go to 440 moderate profile as I had very little tissue up top so in the end I thought unders were the safest option for me.

They are big because my old bras dont even cover my nipples now
I sound soooo moany but I think I'll be happy with them, I just want them to soften up a bit so I can have some cleavage. I might go try some bras on to cheer myself up!

yeah i hear it takes longer for unders to soften up so i'm sure once they have you will love them even more my skin is so tender i don't even wanna try bras on yet just wanna bathe them in cream lol xx

I'm with you all on this one, coming upto 4 weeks and I'm waiting for the 6 week appointment, although I'll be over 6 weeks by the time I see my surgeon. Still lots of numbness and firey nipples are starting to subside! Can't wait for the drop & fluff fairy and the ok to start running again. Hope you're all doing well.

im 3 weeks post op yesterday and so reassuring and glad to hear from some of you guys around the same period experiencing same - numbness, tenderness and waiting for fluffing!! i also just find im majorly tired all the time, went back to work 3 days last week but had to leave mid-afternoon as was in desperate need of a nap!! hopefully this too will pass soon!

Lucky for me the nipple trouble has passed now! Still can't really pit pressure on them at all or anything, so miles away from tummy sleep! But otherwise they have kinda become a part of me, don't really have any pain now... Just waiting for the 6 week mark so I can get back into proper exercise and such...

I think part of the pent up craziness and even tiredness is not being able to exercise. Last week was really tough at work and all I wanted to do was go to the gym or have a fast swim..... but not to be yet.
I havent had any sore nipples, do you think I have that to come or was I just lucky?

Yes I can feel them, the only bit I cant feel is underneath and a bit to the outside.
I wonder if the unders made a difference as the pocketmight be deeper?

Im sure it will settle soon xx

i can't feel my left one and my righty is overly sensitive, also can't feel the creash incisions but that doesn't bother me too much just looking forward to my boobs feeling like they did before the op :( xx

Mine were super sensitive for about a week, and always seemed to be erect too, which was embarrassing!! You must have been lucky, Loopy!

Although, I can feel my whole boob, they're not numb at all. They were a bit at the start, but now I have all the same sensation as I did before, so maybe I'm lucky on that front?? I dunno...

I had my BA 12 Sept 11, and the bottoms of my breasts are still numb. The sides are still firm and my nipples still feel raw (any ladies on here that have breastfed babies know what the rawness of nips feels like...ugh)...I still cannot pull my boobs up to produce any cleavage, but I know I am still early on in the game and just hope the dropping continues and that the fluffing comes soon. I want to go get professionally measured since the online sizer calculators suck...according to my last calculations, I'm measuring around a 34D...all in all, I'm very glad with the outcome of my BA, I just can't wait for cleavage!!!

Haha, and stupid me bought a couple of 36C's a couple of weeks ago with no underwire and those things don't even fit my anymore! Proof that the dropping continues :). I'm giving them away to a gf who is 36C as she needs new bra's and I only one of them once! Now, they dig into my boob and leave red marks on them when I take them off after wearing them for a period of time, like when I'm at work and get home and change into my house clothes...

Speaking of which, do any ladies have any good guidelines at measuring??? Is the band size where you measure your rib cage or across your boobs and nipples?
