numb nipple/front of breast
I am two days post op, and my nipples are completely numb and i can touch the front of my breast and not feel it at all. Is this normal? I have had an uplift aswel, so do you think this would effect them a bit more? Bit scared I will never feel anything again. I get the odd tiny twinge now and again, but thats it :( XXX

Re: numb nipple/front of breast
I can't feel either of my boobs, nipple or skin. Apparently it's normal due to the nerves being stretched, and will get better. Hate it, so weird!

It is normal and the same thing happened to me, even knowing its normal it doesn't stop you worrying a bit. The feeling is now back in my right breast and my left one is still numb in places but I am slowly starting to get the feeling back x

Re: numb nipple/front of breast
i still cant feel the whole underneath part of my breasts, and i just had a ba. My left nipple is still numb, but i spose i still have my right!!!
it can take up to a year for the feelings to come back, so dont worry too much. x

I still can't feel the underneath of mine or y nipples either. I am starting to get nerve twitches and patches of feeling. Its all very normal and can take up to a year to come back.

Re: numb nipple/front of breast
post BA my right nipple was fine but my left wasn't, just over two weeks and I can now feel slight sensation in the left nipple, yipee!!!
Under my boobs r completely numb and I don't expect this to ever return as its by the scar. Small price to pay for gorgeous boobs!!!
It will all return to normal in time however be prepared for some numbness.
xx

I can feel both nipples - more than usual actually, though just under my right nipple is slightly numb - hopefully doesn't last long! Xx

Re: numb nipple/front of breast
My whole breasts were numb for the first few days. The feeling came back in my nipples first and they became very sensitive for about 5 weeks. Getting back to normal now, phew! I still have patches of numbness on the lower halves of my boobs though. Just glad the nips are OK! The twinges you are getting must be a good sign, I'm sure the feeling will come back soon. Xx

Re: numb nipple/front of breast
It's normal to experience some numbness or lack of sensation hun, it's possible it can take up to a year post-op for all sensation to return to parts of the breast after a BA. xx

The underside of both of my boobies are both numb, i can feel the very tips of both of my nipples though. I do hope the feeling underneath comes back - id rather have number nipples because i dont like them being touched. haha x
