Re: Numb right breast/nipple
Hi hun my left nip is still numb too, but it is slowly getting sensation back and responds to hot and cold. I think it can take quite a few months even up to a year to get full sensation back.
Re: Numb right breast/nipple
That's not very nice is it?! Well despite the poor service you've been given, I do think it's quite normal to have numb nips at your stage. I'm coming up for 3 months and am still a bit numb underneath the breast even though the nip sensation has come back. It can take up to a year for sensation to return so I don't think you have anything to worry about ... x

Re: Numb right breast/nipple
yeah the other girls are right hunny it's normal for your nips....or indeed any part of your breast to remain totally or partially numb for up to a year.
mine are still quite numb from under my nips downward and from my nips upward they feel quite.... hmmm how to describe it, like pins and needles. it's like the feeling is coming back into them but it's not totally there yet and it can feel very weird and not too pleasant to touch those areas.
it's like you know they are your boobs but in some parts it's like feeling someone else's lol.
luckily my nips are normal and seem to be erect all the time whether it's hot or cold....which can too be a bit embarrassing, like when i had my checkup and they decided they would come out for a nosey

Re: Numb right breast/nipple
I read this the other day about nipple numbness
"Sensation loss to the nipple and breast is an uncommon complication of breast augmentation. It is usually related to the anatomy of the breast and nerve position. Normally the nerve that provides sensation to the nipple comes into the breast from the side. In about 3-5% of the population, the nerve actually enters the breast directly beneath the nipple thru the muscle. If the muscle is elevated to place an implant, the nerve can be damaged, causing numbness. There is no way to predict the patient that may suffer from numbness". Plus it said it can take 1-2 years to get full sensitivity back as nerves grow slowly.
