Numb arm???
morning ladies. i got my expander filled on wednesday and since then i have had problems with my right arm. it started off on wed just not feeling right and slowy got worse. now my whole arm is numb and am in alot of pain.
did anyone else suffer a numb arm after a BA? shoul i worry? will it ease off?

thank you ladies, think i will call hospital. my fingers and and feel.ike they have been sat on and that horrible numb feeling you get and it gradually ease off by the time you reach my shouder, either that or am just getting used to it.

Maybe you have slept awkwardly because of surgery and trapped a nerve in your shoulder or neck (you could try rubbing it with something like deep heat) - but I would check with consultant to see if this is a side effect of BA before you explore other options.

Sounds like it's possibly a trapped nerve Sarah, which can happen and is caused by the swelling. As the swelling subsides the nerve is released and the pain goes.
This is just a possibility though, you'd be best to call your surgeon and discuss your pain with him hunni. xx

i am guessing its a trapped nerve to. he did put 150mls in on wednesday which is a big stretch for the muscles. just waiting to here back from hospital. its just really annoying x

If you worried at all id go back to them & ask if its normal?

well hospital got back to me and i was told to go to a&e, that it didnt soundcserious but they wanted me to be checked. so.my husband has went away to work, no one will watch my kids and i cant get to hospital. kids are going to bed early so i can get peace x
