I'm not sure hun, make sure you tell your surgeon tomorrow and they'll look at your feet instead I guess.... good luck x

Re: i have acryllic nails on!
Take nail varnish remover just in case. U can sort of soak them with that if they have to take them off. They eventually prise off. but only do that if desperate.
Re: i have acryllic nails on!
mine needed an infill a week ago so just removed them...miss them, but would rather have sexy boobs with no complications

With most ops, non boob related included, you're told not even to wear nail varnish, so I'd call you surgeon or nurse and ask, and remove them in plenty of time. I have a feeling you'll have to remove them.

Best check with the ps hun, the last thing u want is to stress even more on the day cos they make you take them off, plus they take ages to soak off and it may delay things with your surgery etc, i would take them off, better to be safe than sorry, xxxx

Re: i have acryllic nails on!
I have been told I am not allowed them, its because they need to measure the amount of oxygen or something apparently. But like the other girls said best to check with your PS hun. Good luck.
Iv had mine on for 2 years going to be lost without them lol but you can always get them done after the op and besides better to have new lol (in my opinion) lol

When i had my op on saturaday - she said the nail varnish needed to come off (not that i had any on but i asked out of interest ) as they check your finger nails for oxygen etc..... to make sure the blood is circulating properly -can't remember now but it made sense at the time ...... any help !?

Re: i have acryllic nails on!
I agree with the other girls...you will most likely have to take them off. I have with all my ops. Its pretty much common policy.
And its for your safety too.
Saying that...anyone seen Katie price going in for her ops on telly?? False eyelashes, false nails... full makeup?? Er..Hello? Do you get special treatment if you're famous and on camera?? Hmmmm...

Re: i have acryllic nails on!
I have UV gel nails (and have had for the past 7 or so years!!)... I had to have them removed for my surgery, for the reasons the girls have said above. I had them taken off the evening before my surgery and then put back on 2 days after... so I wasn't without them for long! So it's not going to be unbearable for you Nikki.
