Hi! Really nervous!!!
Hi everyone,
I am have been looking at this forum for last few days as I am getting really nervous!! I am booked for 12th April (Tuesday!!) and am now starting to feel really sick with nerves, I can't stop worrying about size and being put to sleep :-(
I am at 32b and getting 320 cc overs although now I keep thinking that I should have gone for 360cc?? They seemed so big on the day, do they look smaller once they are in? Can anyone offer any advice to help me?
xx

Re: Hi! Really nervous!!!
Hi, m due for surgery on the 21st and im nervous! its natural and try not to worry! everyone here says one second your counting down from ten and dont even remember getting to 8, and the nxt, its all over and your in recovery :) just distract yourself and keep busy.
Im a 34c BODY IS SIZE 10/12 and im 5ft6 and having 460cc to take me to a minimum dd/e, i cant imagine 360 would look too big for you, what clothes size r u? depending on your body shape. Try to trust your surgeon, as they usually know whats best. If you have unders, they tend to look smaller, but not really that much. I spose you have to think that your paying all that money and you,d be gutted if they werent big enough, as a lot of ppl on here tend to say. Sorry i cant offer you more advice, im going off what ive heard! But i hope ive managed to clear some stuff up for you?

Re: Hi! Really nervous!!!
I was really scared too. I found the girls on this site great for reassuring me. Everything will be fine. As for the size only you can really make that decision. I was an empty 34a/b from breatfeeding and I went with 360cc anitomical overs. I am gllad I chose the bigger size. Once the swelling goes down they will feel small. Not really sure what size I am now. I am thinking a 34c/d. I
Good luck! All will be fine! Most of us were petrified before the BA. All normal feelings. So glad I did it.

Re: Hi! Really nervous!!!
im really scared too but just think of how youll feel once youre healed. im taking a new outfit into hospital with me to hang opposite my bed in case i get jittery. that way i can think of the finished product and how it'll make me feel being able to wear clothes that i actually want to. im doubting if its really worth it cos im scared but i know i want it and have done for years. i think a few days/ weeks of pain and a couple of hours of crapping myself are worth the boost my confidence will get... (im gonna keep reading this comment to myself when im sat in bed bricking it as im about to go down :P)
im sure you'll be fine, im just glad other people are as nervous as me, i dont feel so silly now. youre not alone!! xx

Re: Hi! Really nervous!!!
Hey bridetobe,
I had a 9:30 PM size freak-out the day after I chose my size, was rice-testing like crazy, and called my PS's office that night at 10:00 PM to say I needed to try everything on again. His answering machine was very understanding. Ha ha. I had to pay $75 to change sizes, as my implants were special ordered and what I picked was what went in (no sizers there!). I only went up 25 CC's (which is like a tablespoon), and it might not have made any difference. My PS had advised me really well, he is fabulous at what he does and knew far better than I did what he was doing!
I am telling you that to say: I know how you feel, and also trust your surgeon! We all freak out about size before we go through with whatever our decision is. If you really are worried they might not be big enough, err on the side of bigger (most regret not going big enough), but if it is just nerves (I would have worried even if I had ordered 800 cc's) then trust your decision. Did your surgeon help you come to that size determination? Trust him! They are professionals who do this every day.
Either way, you'll come out beautifully!
Only a day or so now for you! Yay! Enjoy it, and enjoy looking forward to it. Don't be nervous, just excited darling. I was never happier than when I woke up and saw my new additions.

OH, and being put to sleep was a big fear of mine. But it was heavenly. I remember blissfully fading out, then waking up to find it was all over. If only everything in life were that easy.

Re: Hi! Really nervous!!!
Yes he did , he said I could go for either size but thought the bigger would look better but when I tried them on they just looked so big! I am going to have a good chat with him tomorrow and I think just ask for him to do what he thinks is best - they ordered both as I coudn't decide!! Thanks so much for the support.. just getting my bag together now feels very strange!!

Re: Hi! Really nervous!!!
My surgeon ordered both too. I was scared the 360 would be too large but he thought it would be better than the 325. I am glad I went for the bigger.
Good luck. Try not to be scared. Oh.. Not sure if you know or not but most of us had very bloated bellys after surgery. Good idea to have some high fiber foods and prune juice on hand.

Re: Hi! Really nervous!!!
Hey Hun,
Seriously don't be nervous, I had my BA a matter of hours ago.
I'm a bit sore as excepted but im actually very mobile and can move about pretty well.
I was a 34B before and chose 365cc but the surgeon ending up putting in 315 cc, cos I said I wanted to be a large D and I reckon that's probably what I am now.
Best thing I've ever done and I'm soooo happy with the size, nice and big, perfect for my frame but st the same they are small enough that I will be able to wear a push up bra to give them that extra boost if I want to.
Whereas I think the 365 cc would have ended up being to big for the look I want, and my god do they look natural already!!! Can't believe it.
I know everyone always says on here to go for the bigger option but I'm so glad I didnt cos now I've got great natural looking boobs which suit my size perfectly! (30" chest)
Hun you have nothing to worry about xxxx

Re: Hi! Really nervous!!!
Hello! Well I am home and relaxing! I cant believe I actually did it!! I was so so nervus on the day but the staff at Spire were AMAZING so lovely. I woke up in pain and the first thing I asked was "What size did I get?!" My ssurgeon tried the 320 in surgery and they didnt look right so he went for the 360. I have to say I am glad and think he made the right choice.
Starting to come up in bruises now and making the most of being at home and relaxing watching lots of films. Thanks for all your support ladies it was so nice. I am so happy my wedding dress is going to fit properly now!!!!!!!! xx

Re: Hi! Really nervous!!!
OH! and in regard to not knowing about sizes, i contacted my surgeon and hes bringing a few sizes on the day cos i think i wanna go bigger. i only decided on 400s cos thats the biggest he had on the day. fingers crossed! i was told by the nurses there to go bigger than you want cos you always wish you had if you hadnt. i hope i can get 450s, preferably 500s. its cos of my big frame :( he said 400s would probs make me about a C/D and i want about a DD so im praying :P x

Re: Hi! Really nervous!!!
Hey! Only just saw this! I went to Spire in Manchester and every single person was absolutely lovely - I was absolutely terrified on the day too so I am glad they were so nice! :-) ON the day my surgeon said that he thought I would be better with the bigger ones so I just toldhim to go with what looked best as I really trusted him. I am glad I did they are fantastic! I am only small so the 360 was enough for me!xx
