Re: Arnica 30c
Hi Jaderowlands,
Let me preface this by saying ask your surgeon what is best for YOU. My surgeon gave me both of those supplements, but AFTER my pre-op so he knew my full medical history and everything I was already taking.
Bromelain is a supplement used to reduce swelling, bruising and inflammation. I took it 3 times a day starting 3 days before my surgery and till it was gone, which was about a week after the surgery.
I took Arnica Montana, so I don't know if it is the same as what you have (though it sounds like it). I took it immediately AFTER surgery and until my PS told me to stop (three weeks total).
Again, those were my surgeon's instructions - your PS may have different recommendations. But do ask.... I don't know if it was these supplements, or my surgeon's technique (maybe both?), but I had no bruising at all and I usually bruise easily. But above all trust your doctor, sweetie pie! XXXXX

Thank you javajunkie. I was tld about these supplements by my ps and just wanted to see if any1 else had had experience with them. I'd never just take these medicines without advice from the ps first.
My ps isn't giving ne them :(( lucky you lol. I'll have to start taking arnica soon. And thanks for the info on bromelain, really useful huni.
Ps give lots if contradicting advise but obv as u said IRS best to follow ur own ps instructions as he knows what's best for u. Xxx
