It's homeopathic, so you're not supposed to touch the tablets, but I was told to shake 3 into the cap and take 3x per day, but not til after the surgery. Arnica 30 267328

i didn't have any bruising either

you should prob check w/ your PS

I've never seen the cream before....maybe one of the other girls has had experience of it?/

Although I know you're not supposed to get anything near your incision, no cream untill they heal, and mostly bruising is near the incisions - so this may not work for this purpose....

I have just started taking the tablets today. Mr Hassan told me to take them for 3 days pre op and 3 days after. I've been taking 2 tablets every 2 hours for the first 6 doses, then the tube says to take 2 tablets 4 x a day! I think every surgeon advises differently hun. xx

Well idk how important it is, mine said "do not handle tablets" supposedly homeopathic meds lose some of their "potency" if you touch them. It's not dangerous or anything sorry!!

Hi, I use homeopathy all the time, arnica is brilliant and as well as reducing swelling/ bruising it's basically one of the number one remedies for physical shock- which the body goes through with any op. Short of seeing a natural therapist, who will tell you the dose thats right for you, I would suggest one tablet at a time twice a day 3 days before and then afterwards depending on amount of bruising/pain, either stick with two dose a day for few days or continue for longer and do 3 to 6 dose a day depending, and reduce as improves.

for emotional shock take bach flower remedies, rescue rem is great, works really well- i use it for my dogs, horse, son....no its not a 'scientifically proven' thing, nor is arnica, but def works :)

hope that helps xx

Hey babes, I asked the nurse at transform and she said I could take them 7 days before and 7 days after, she didn't say what dose though so I've just been taking 2 tablets 3 times a day (except today so far as it's op day). Give the nurse who did your pre op a text maybe and ask her to check? Xx

Hi all, i took Arnica 30 a week before and week after and followed the dose on the instructions. I had one little bruise that seemed to disepate quite quickly and had no pain. Think i'm one of the lucky ones. I've also used the cream previously for hockey injuries and it seemed to help bring the bruising out quicker. Maybe its a placebo effect but seemed to work for me. Everyones different though.
