Arnica 6c
Have got my Arnica to hopefully stop the bruising after my BA in 18 days time...woooohooooo !!! Went into Tesco and asked if they had some and was automatically given the 6c!! Have only just found out that there is also a 30c and am now wondering if there is any difference between the two?
Also, when should I start taking this? Really want to try and prevent the bruising so need to take them properly!!
Thanks guys
Gemma xx not long to wait now!!!!!!

ah thanks Mia, do you think I should maybe get that one then or would the 6c be ok? Could try taking back as haven't opened the tube yet.

Hi Gemma
Personally I would return and get the 30cc..not sure if the 6cc would be effective for the swelling and bruising internally of an op. I guess you could take five of the 6cc together if wanted. However, I would rather have the higher dose as they do work and make you feel much more comfortable after the op. Health shops or good pharmacies should stock a decent quality brand. You can also buy it in cream and gel form to rub on externally to, great for childrens everyday knocks and falls!! Good Luck xx

I was told to get 6c . Take three days before and five afterwards, but if I was you I would ask your nurse as she is the most qualified to answer the questions rather then risking guessing and taking double doses or something stronger then you need...
Never guess with medicine... They are there to help you and are very experienced in what they do x x x

Hi Mia,
Have been back to Tesco this morning and asked if I could swap the 6c for the 30c and the pharmacist said that the 6c is the stronger one of the two and that is all they have in their stock!!
I'm gonna try and clarify via the web which is the stronger one.

Hmm, I don't know about that. I think you'll be ok with it, as some surgeons don't even advise taking arnica.

Thanks RoxyChick, think I will start taking it anyway as surely it can't do any harm.
