Things to take to hospital? Empty Things to take to hospital?

Post by flowergirl 11th March 2011, 10:36 pm

OK, the time is getting closer now.... less than 4 days... actually bricking it now :pale:
I need some kind of definitive list as going to pack my bag tomorrow as I am working Sunday on a 14 hour shift and half a day on Monday so won't have much time left.
I'm thinking the obvious such as:
Button down pyjamas
Zip up hoodies
Sports bras (30DD and 32E prob wishful thinking but you never know!)
Arnica
Slippers
Dressing gown
Pillow
Make up
Toothbrush/ toothpaste
Towel

What else...?
Oh and make up obviously cos I need to look sexy with my pointy cone boobs! Hysterical Not that OH will be looking at my face after Hysterical

Anything that you wished you'd packed and didn't? xx

Mints for the awful tast the GA sometimes leaves in your mouth. Magazines for the boredom/distraction and lip balm for the dry lips after the op xx

Books and snacks.

I put my hair into a french plait before my op. It was great at keeping my hair from dreading until I was fit enough to brush it myself.

Best of luck.

A water bottle with a sports lid is great for having in bed with you - as it is too painful and difficult to keep trying to sit up and reach round for a glass of water - and after the GA you WILL BE thirsty! x
