Nervous
I am very nervous about GA and terrified something is going to happen to me. I almost feel selfish that I would leave my kids with out a mother. Any words of advice. I think I just need to chill, I mean this is my second BA!

Re: Nervous
I was nervous on my 2nd op (1st BA, 2nd other) I knew what a GA was like etc, but you know the risks, even though it is practically unheard of for anything bad to happen. If you didn't worry and get nervous you wouldn't be human. When is your op?
Re: Nervous
i am also very panicky about this , even went to my doctors today to check if i had any medical history that could effect the GA .
even tho im dreading having the GA i found myself reasurring my daughter who might be having her tonsils out , that she would be fine and all it is, is goin to sleep , after this i kinda calmed down , i think i reasurred myself more than her .
Also reading most of the experiences from here has put my mind a lot more at rest .

Re: Nervous
I think we were all nervous hun, but it's a completely normal reaction, just think of the end result, that's why we put ourselves through all this in the first place....you'll be fine babes, honest!!!! xx

Re: Nervous
Totally normal to feel this way, I had the same thoughts and feelings about my kids too.
They way I looked at it, is there is risk all the time in everything we do... for instance driving our car... yet we get in it every single day and drive with out a second thought...
Yes GA has its risks, howevery they are very slim... and immagine all the ops going on everyday, there are 1000's of people each day going under GA and they are all fine.
I know its stressful to think about the risks, so just try and focus on the boobie part... it is a quick operation, and in my opinion the recovery is way easier than I had anticipated.. so dont worry you will be fine, and you will be thrilled with the end result!

IAlso, we are all young (ish) and healthy. It isn't like we are having a GA for a chronic illness or something life threatening. You'll be fine.

Thanks hun!
I was probably a B or C cup but very saggy I had 540cc and a lollipop lift I now wear a 10f Aussie size which is 32G uk size. It sounds huge but they don't look huge and I am tall 5'10" so again they don't look that big on me. I love my boobs but I would still go bigger if I could :teehee:
