cooling off period?
anyone know what this means and what its for?
i had my consultation on a sunday then my op on the friday.....

I think it means from the moment you pay for the op, you have a 14 day cooling off period for if you change your mind and cancel your op. This would mean you get your money back in full. As you have had the op already I dont think it applies. But I might be wrong.

It just covers the first 14 days after you book and pay your deposit...I think. xx

Hi - yes, the independent healthcare association say that good practice is that patients should have a 2 week gap b/w the consultn & surgery - so people don't get carried along by the hype & pressured into surgery. Most reputable copmpanies follow this but if they don't they are supposed to get patients to sign a disclaimer saying they don't want to wait the two week period.
