Re: March Buddies!
Had my ba 3 weeks ago, everything went smoothly, the pain is all forgotten and everything that side of things is dandy...apart from I'm not happy with them :/ I really was expecting them to be bigger, even as soon as i peeked down after my op i felt disappointed but decided to recover and see how i felt. 3 weeks on, they look 'ok', i know i shouldn't be trying bras on whilst still wearing my support bra but i've needed to see what they look like with an under-wire on...even though it's an old one and doesnt exactly fit!! I had unders but i just don't seem to have the volume i was hoping for, i was hoping for natural but noticable, their just not noticable enough for me I'm seeing the surgeon next week and i'm going to tell him my concerns but just feels like I've wasted 4 and a half thousand pounds and don't have the money to do it all again Feeling very deflated............

Greeneyes- it is early yet. Unders do fluff and get bigger from what I have read. it takes a while for the muscle to relax and stop squishing the implant. I have seen pictures of unders that just get bigger.
Post that you want to see pictures of boobs that fluffed and I am sure some of the girls will respond. Good luck!

Yeah I have read this too, maybe I just have boob greed but just frustrated that their not looking how I imagined them too.I suppose we all conjour up a 'perfect' image of how we think we all should look! Someone did say if they don't fluff then they will become a better shape but its not that I'm worried about :/ I don't think I can view pictures at the minute because I'm still a newbie lol x Thanks tho x

Re: March Buddies!
I forgot about the newbie thing with pictures. I would not worry about size yet though. I keep telling myself no to worry about things too. My nurse told me it can be anywhere from 6 months to a year for the final product.

Re: March Buddies!
Flowergirl, I really feel for you. My OH has been good, but I can tell it's wearing thin now. Do you think you could bear to let the chores build up? Maybe once he's seen the mess it might spur him on? My OH def didn't realise how much work the kids are, and that you can't get anything done when they are on the go. Not much wonder you're sore.
EJM, what a nightmare for you! I'm not sure how I would feel in your situation. I guess you did this for yourself in the end, and not for him. I don't know what to say except to send you hugs. And to you CC.
xx

Re: March Buddies!
Thank you darlings, really needed to hear all your support. I'm actually feeling HEAPS better today. I think the main reason why I'm so upset is actually because I'm so frustrated at not being able to do my usual things. Well, today I made myself have a nice lie in, made myself boiled eggs and soldiers and watched MTV in bed! It was lovely! Feel heaps better and boobies feel better today, not so achy, so over all happy!
EJM, I'm sorry to hear your OH is shirking away from you... maybe he's scared he might hurt you? He just has to get used to it, then I'm sure he'll come around. Same as you CC, just can't believe your OH said he now prefers smaller boobs! A hit round the head might sort him out. Stupid men!

Re: March Buddies!
Hi CC, what a dufus - cant belive he said that thing bout preferring smaller boobs. Listen you dont have the strength to clock him, but he needs a good kick in the flute n skittles. I was so disgusted i read you post to my male housemate and he recommends that as soon as is possible, you put on your most sexy, pushy-uppy, bra wiht your most revealing top, and then go out wht you OH and his friends, and see how he feels while they oogle you - suddenly he will be very protective and realise what he has that others dont!
Greeneyes, I have exactly what you have. I am not happy with the size. I keep trying to tell myself they are bigger than they were but I wanted natural but noticeable. They are perhaps too natural. My only option is to try and lose lot of weight so there is a greater contrast from body to booby. That being said my nurse said it takes a min of 3 months before you'll know what they are going to look like. However, i dont think 'fluff' means double in size, i think it just means protrude a little.

Re: March Buddies!
EJM- I can't wait to put on a sexy bra and low cut top and go out. What a great idea!!
My swelling is going down and it is strange because I was so upset that they were too big. Now they seem small.
Hope they don't shrink anymore. If they do boob greed is going to set in and I did not think I would have that.
Yesterday I was almost pain free and now today they are hurting again. I was up a lot last night in discomfort. Think maybe I over did it the last couple days because I felt so good.
Guess I will take it easy today.
Anyone else have really good days and then wake up surprised they are in pain?
I am still happy though. Looks like the boobie blues are gone for good.

Re: March Buddies!
Congrats Jen!
I had my Op. on Friday. I only had small implants but these things are heavy! ha.
I don't have any pain yet either, but it seems a bit too good to be true. I'm waiting for 'morning boob' to kick in.
Before my Op. Dr Khan came to see me and again just went over the fact that because my boobs were different sizes and also a different shape to each other, that it would be impossible to get that much of a close match. I said I'll just be happy to have clothes and a bra that fits better.
After the Op. he came to see me again to say that I've got a really good result and they are very close to the same shape and size as each other. I haven't seen them properly without the bra yet, I'm very bandaged up too, but I can see they are the same size so I'm very pleased!
No regrets - all worth it!
Best of luck to all of those left with ops this month and to all of those healing!

Re: March Buddies!
So many people have Dr Khan in March! He must be raking it in haha!
Don't panic Alishajay, you'll be made to feel so relaxed at the hospital. I'm sure you'll be fine!
Heroes - My surgeon said to me that some women will go through 2 or 3 operations to try and reach perfection with shape and size in a case of asymmetry and often it isn't worth it. Even though it's early days I think this one Op. will just give me the self acceptance and confidence that I need. No one is perfect after all! I'm sure you'll be happier with yourself after, best of luck!
I don't know how anyone could survive the stress of going through a BA without having read this forum. Every time I see something or feel something odd I think back to this forum and can think 'ah yeah, that's normal, I remember a few girls mentioned this!' It's such a relief.

Re: March Buddies!
Great news girls, I'm glad you're doing so well. I get the last (hopefully) of my tape etc off on Tuesday when I go for a 'wound check'. Really looking forward to a proper shower!
I just drove myself, my mum and the kids out for a coffee and it was fine. Mum was there to do the lifting in and out of the car. I'm getting help this coming week with the nursery run, but after that, I think I should be almost back to normal! So far not nearly as bad afterwards as I had worked myself up for.
Hope everyone is having a good Sunday xxx
