Thank you for letting us know EJM. I'm gonna try and find somewhere to go. Read up on it and it seems like it will help with alot of things and make you feel good after. Haven't really got the spare money for it at the mo, but if I'm in pain then it may have to be spent. xx

Re: March Buddies!
Things are finally looking up. The boobie blues are finally leaving. I was able to actually pull a sweater on over my head.
Not sure if I will be able to get it back off though. LOL! The girls still look rather odd and pointy but that will change. They look good in my sweater!!
Strange when I look down and remind myself it is all me and not a padded bra giving me my curves.
Hope all is going well for the rest of you march girls!!!

Re: March Buddies!
Good luck sampowell, it'll be fine.
I knwo its awierd one, and i'll be honest would have never considered it flowergirl, but you should have seen me, crying, couldn't stand, couldn't sit, my friend and my OH didnt know what to do with me. I would have agreed to anything to make the pain go away, and as it turned out it was not even a little bit painful just a bit weird but also relieving. And as it turns out it gets rid of toxins, excess bad bacteria, boosts your immune, helps reduce bloating and kick start slow metabolisms as well as giving you a spring clean..just for half an hour of warm water. I'm going back Friday just to complete the course and make sure my tum tum is spick and span.
Cant wait to sleep tonight : )
So pleased your feeling better CC, hopefully will be trying on clothes soon too. I put on 7 lbs and have lost 4 of the 7 today woo. My hips are still swollen though, i look like an amazon woman.

Re: March Buddies!
aaaahhhh you're all freaking me out with tales of bloating and baby bumps haha
I feel like I should immediately go and eat an entire broccoli or something.
Congrats to all the new boobs today!
Op on friday and so far I have one bra...I'm so unprepared. Mentally I'm good to go - slice me up and stick 'em in! I went to M&S today for bras and was umming and ahhing then came away with nothing.

Re: March Buddies!
Hey girls, sorry the thing isn't sending me updates!
Candy - so glad you are feeling better dearie!
I am generally better, feeling kinda like myself, I am just getting bored of the random slight pain and tightness in my chest now and want to get back to normal. I can put tops on and off over my head and can get stuff off high she;ves but still feel a little uncomfortable most of the time. Oh well, that's to be expected I guess!
Hello to any new girls and I'll try to post up more over the next few days!

Re: March Buddies!
ARRGGGHHHH! The dreaded morning boob strikes! I slept on the sofa last night cos it's really comfy and has adjustable height on the arms so I could sleep propped up. Well... bad idea. I woke up at 1am, desperate for some pain killers. My lower back was killing me, my chest felt tight, and I have this really weird stabbing pain in my left armpit. Eventually managed to get back to sleep only to be woken up at 6.15 by my children coming in to watch Nick Jr....
I'm not 100% sure this is the booby blues... I'm just really **naughty word** off today cos I can't DO anything. I struggled to get the kids breakfast just now and I'm hunched over like an old lady... and I can't have anymore pain relief until 11am cos I've already had my allotted 8 in 24 hours RAH!
Sorry for the moan girls, just needed to get it off my chest lol xxx

Re: March Buddies!
Flowergirl you poor thing - the thing i find the worst si the lack of sleep thing- drives me batty. I regularly wake up every 2- 4 hours. Last night it was 11- 1, 1.30 - 4, 5 - 7.00 and now i'm up for good, cant imagine what it must be like with kids.
Still know this the first 3 days are the most intense then its just sort of noting that each day your skin will have loosened a little allowing you more freedom of breath. Do the breath exercise si mentioned in that massive list, 3 really deep breaths once an hour. By saturday you'll be abel to start try to walk upright a bit more and it'll really help your back. Also when you sleep, do it in bed as the mattress will probably have better lumbar support.
Do you have anyone else at home to help you?

Re: March Buddies!
Yeh, I have my OH but it's his birthday today, so I don't want to overdo it by asking him too many things. It's meant to be his day today. And he's got uni from 11-5 so I've got to look after my 2 year old on my own all day. She's pretty good but quite demanding. Just went to the doctor to get some Tramadol, hopefully that'll keep me going through the day.
Thanks for the list, btw, it really helped me, I went through it last night and it made me feel alot better.
I woke up last night at about 4am aswell, with my left arm completely numb, had to move it to get pins and needles and some feeling back in it. It's still really sore and numbish today... gosh, the things we ladies do to look beautiful! On the plus side, changed my bra this morn and took my strap off so I could have a proper look and wowzers! They look so amazing am over the moon! As my surgeon said, no pain, no gain!

Hi Hon,
Hmm thats sounds a bit stressful. Birthdays are important but i reckon he'll have another next year perhaps you should come first today.
I'm based in northampton. If your in the area, i would be happy to pop over and help you out for a couple of hours.

Re: March Buddies!
Flowergirl - congratulations on your new boobies!!
Sorry to hear about your boobie blues! I'd say the random aches and pains sound reasonably normal. I found it is still taking a certain adaptability to make sleep work. I have been on my back but I think because I couldn't roll on to my side my neck didn't appreciate it so I am still sleeping slightly propped up.
You probably will wake up at random hours for a few days but I found things really did look up after four to five days so hang in there huni!
xx

You're an absolute angel, EJM! I'm in Southampton, so bloody miles away but the thought that you would do that for me means alot. Actually after taking the Tramadol, I'm HEAPS better, can almost laugh without wincing :heehee:
You girls are the best, so nice to have someone going through the same thing as me

Re: March Buddies!
Hi everyone,
Flowergirl, I know exactly what you mean. I'm really fed up of not being able to do things for myself and not driving is driving me mad! I did drive to our mother and toddler group today, with OH in the car so he could lift the kids out for me. Queue questions as to why I wasn't in my own car which I got round, but simple things like not helping take the toys in or tidy up were awkward. Then to top all of that off, OH was nearly half an hour late in picking us up again, which saw me stood outside in the p*&^ing rain trying to control two kids I couldn't pick up! Needless to say he got his head to play with ;)
I've arranged to meet a friend for coffee tomorrow so am planning to drive myself there. I'll see what kind of night I have. Sore today, but I think it's just because without the strapping, my boobs are actually getting to move about a bit.
I took another photo yesterday and it's only when I can flick between the before and straight onto the after that I can see what a good job the guy has done. Def all worth it.
I haven't told anyone except my mum and sis about the op, so it's great to ramble on here.
Going to see the Script on Tuesday night, getting my OH to form a perimeter around me!
xxx

Re: March Buddies!
It is horrible isnt it. Today I drove again and carried my daughter for the first time and it really wasnt too bad so am hoping that I am almost there.
Went for my check up with Khan about the hemotoma and he said that it is small enough to just fade away on its own - thank god!!!!!!!
he then, told me that i need to start massaging them and manhandled them in a way I would have knocked my OH out for. hilarious. They are much more durable than I thought.
went to top shop and tried on bikini tops which was weird and funny. dont know what suits me now i have boobs.

Re: March Buddies!
So what size sports bras are you girls all wearing now? I'm filling out a 30E rather nicely to my delight! Tried on a 32DD but it was too big on the band.
Good luck Auriga on seeing the Script! You're braver than me! Get your elbows out ready to poke people if they come anywhere near the new boobies!
I've done my BA story btw and it's up on the story thread if any girls who have't had there's done yet want to have a squizz.
Good luck to all you who have yet to go! I'll be putting up pics soon xx

My op is next Monday and I only booked a week off from work. Do you guys think I'll be able to drive and work alright the following week?
How will I feel the next week? Will I feel sick and not want to work? or will I feel fine but just heavy on the chest?
Sorry so many questions but just want to prepare myself!

Really glad the haematoma wasn't anything serious. You're another tough cookie! Can't believe you've had them for over 2 weeks already! How do you massage them? I'd be way to scared, mine are so sore but I'm only Day 2 !!shaydey wrote:It is horrible isnt it.
