Re: March Buddies!
I have yet to figure out how to do the quote. I wanted to do it a few times.
It is hard doing things with the phone. Lately I just have my blackberry with me all the time.

Aww Candy, sending you massive hugs. I hope that you start loving your new boobies soon. What size did you go for in the end? Hope that once you start feeling better you'll soon start feeling better about your boobies too. xx

Re: March Buddies!
Candycain xx it's perfectly normal to feel how you are feeling hunni xx :console:
It can take a few weeks to adjust to the new you and it doesn't help not sleeping well and being all bunged up and uncomfortable xx You are probably very swollen hunni and GA really doesn't agree with some people and can linger for quite a few days xx If you ask in the main BA section you will find that a lot of girls didn't like their new additions immediately xx sometimes it just takes a little time xx
Drink lots of water xx try not to look at your new additions in the mirror constantly hun xx They will go down xx I promise xx Sweety, try to take each day at a time xx everyone is different xx I didn't feel normal for about 2 weeks xx so try not to panic and worry xx just try to relax and concentrate on healing xx
Thinking of you xx and just wanted you to know that you are not alone that others have felt exactly the same way you are feeling xx It will lift and the swelling will go down hun xx

candycain wrote:Hi girls.
I am still a downer. I hate the size oof my breast. They are too big. Wishing I had of went with the smaller ones.
I really hope they go down in size. My tummy is huge. I look pregnant! I have been drinking prune juice and have taken all natural laxitives. Those pain killers have really messed me up.
This surgical bra they have me wearing is so tight it is driving me nuts too. Oh and my left boob has started a strange bubbly feeling. I am a real complainer right now. I just hate my boobs sticking out so far.
I am glad to hear the rest of you are doing great.
Candycain,
I'm so sorry that you feel so cr*ppy. Its not permanent, your still healing. I cant seem to sleep longer than 2 hours at a time and guess what... my boobs are the wrong size. We agreed on a d cup and they are a C. I am very broad shouldered so small boobs look even smaller on me. I am hoping that when i heal they magically do something amazing because otherwise i'm thinking what a lot of pain for a result i'm no that stoked over.
That being said, whats done is done. and at the end of the day we all want bigger boobs, and bigger boobs we got. I think in 2 months months time, we will be over this and be happy with the new usses', its just a period of adjustment.
Also, day 1 and my belly looks like i swallowed a beach ball, it'll pass. Imagine how we are going to look in tight t-shirts and jeans.... a simple outfit but we'll look amazing. Chin up poppet, they will shrink a bit, then drop a bit and you are going to look too, too sexy :console:

Re: March Buddies!
Thanks EJM
I wanted a c cup and I am squeezed into a 36 c surgical bra. I think I am actual a d cup now. I know it is early on and they will change. I just can't shake this sad feeling.
And I really don't want them this big. I feel like a barbie doll. It really makes me ill to touch them.
I was going to get the 335 cc and right before the surgery the dr. Said the 360cc would give me a nicer lift. Really wishing I has gone with the smaller ones now.

EJM with your belly, that is a common thing a lot of girls have said and I have that too but compared with my new boobs my tummy looks very flat!
Candy that's not good huni, I really hope you feel better about things. I'm sure you don't look like a barbie doll sweetheart!
*hugs*

Aww hunnie, I'm sure once the 'boobie blues' have evaporated, you will feel differently about them. 25ccs is around ¼ cup size anyway, so you really wouldn't have noticed the difference in size, so please don't beat yourself up about it.
I'm sure once the swelling goes down, all the pain disappears and after you have had a few nights proper sleep you will start to feel differently about them

Re: March Buddies!
Aww Candy hun, I agree with Carol that you're probably suffering with the boobie blues at the moment. You're right on schedule for them and they make you feel crappy. I had it too where I kept looking at my boobs thinking "oh no, they aren't big enough"... and felt really sad, but now I think I was being crazy and I love them!!! I'm really pleased, and I'm sure that in a few days when the swelling starts to go down you will be feeling a bit better about them as well. Don't forget that it is absolutely natural and common for them to swell up and seem really high and scary at first. They will sort themselves out though. You just rest up!! :-)
EJM - that's a great attitude to have hun, you're definitely right. I think your story is a great example of why some surgeons are reluctant to talk in bra sizes with their patients because it is just so extremely difficult to predict what size you will be once the implants are in. Saying that, it is not unknown for girls on here to fluff up one or even two cup sizes!!
I've bought myself a new sports bra today, it fits brilliantly and it's a 32D!!! I can't believe it. I really don't think I look it at all.
Has anyone else who's got over the initial soreness and uncomfortableness started to notice that the areas around their incisions are getting sore? My boobs and muscle etc all feel fine, but I feel quite tender around my incisions!!

Re: March Buddies!
That soreness will pass gradually over the next week or two Lindylou, once the scabs have formed, hardened and then dropped off. Mine felt sore at first and then itchy and then by the 4th week they had all dropped off and it was then that I was given the go ahead to start the massage - it eased almost immediately. I think the massaging and the Tanamu cream helped considerably.

Yes LL, I am actually more uncomfortable today than I was before, my incisions were more uncomfortable yesterday and my muscles in my chest are going crazy this evening, not a happy bunny, there's definitely stages to it.

Hi girls... How did everyone make out today? My incisions have started to itch now.
I slept most of today. hope I shake this depresion soon and start liking my breast. They just seem so big and pointy.

Candy remember the shape will change and settle down a lot, mine are pointy right now but will settle in to something more natural and probably won't seem quite so big as a result.
Jenbabes - I went from a 36A to a 36D. This is only sports bras but I think a C would be too small. If you're an A or B now then I imagine 350s would do it but I am no expert!

Morning girls, how are you all today? I'm feeling good again. I managed to wash, dry and straighten my hair which makes me feel human again. Still got a really sore throat.
I just caught my son from falling, instinctive, but we'll see if I suffer for it.
Need to get out of the house today, going stir crazy!

You're another tuff cookie!! Mind you, only women can understand the importance of having nice clean, NON frizzy hair!Auriga wrote:Morning girls, how are you all today? I'm feeling good again. I managed to wash, dry and straighten my hair which makes me feel human again.
CC, sending you hugs and hoping your boobies will soon start to feel more like a part of you. Have you any previous before pics to look at? Might make you feel better?

That's great Auriga! I am suffering on day 4, I had morning boob bad earlier, was tired after breakfast so went bac to bed. I just woke up and have morning boob AGAIN and it hurts! Plus my chest muscles are really rebelling now, not as comfortable as I was yesterday so a bit annoyed about that and feeling sorry for myself!
Might try a shallow bath later, only waist height though.

Re: March Buddies!
I seem to totter about the house at a snails pace. I need help sitting down and getting up. I only have drugs for 3 days in total - is that normal? Was thinking of getting some extra strong paracetamol for afters. Out of interest, what drugs are you all on,
I'm on: tramadol, paracetamol 500mg, meloxicam, ranitidine & augmentin and they all run out in 3 more days.
Ps - Candycain - I have verra verra pointy boobs, there is a massive gap in the middle of my chest and my previously perky nipples now point downwards and in slightly opposite directions...but again, I'm going to wait a couple of weeks to see how it pans out, they are swelled and sore, and everything will hopefully relax.

Re: March Buddies!
I was only given co-codamol, but was told to only tyake them when I really needed, so just in the mornings and at night. I took Ibuprofen in the day when i needed it but after around 3/4 days i stopped taking all pain killers in the day as I didnt need them after that.
You are still early days, so pain, feeling uncomfortable, big swollen boobs and pointy nipples are all normal! It wont be long until they have settled abit and you'll be happy with your new boobs!

EJM - I was given paracetamol and ibruprofen. I didn't take anything today but overdid it a bit so have just had one ibroprofen and two paracetamol. However, I am taking arnica every three hours or so when I'm awake.
I haven't even peeked at my boobies yet so am hoping I don't get a big shock when they get all untaped on Tuesday! My PS did say that it takes weeks for swelling to go down and months for gravity to take effect and for the boobs to end up where he planned them to be, so early days to worry about how they look I guess?
A quiet Saturday night planned. My husband is taking full advantage of my confinement and is cooking me fish for tea YUK!
Have a good one girls xxx

Hey Lovelies!
I had my follow up apt today! I moved it up a day because I have been really emotional and worried the last 2 nights. I met with my doctor & he is REALLY happy with everything. All of my worries (that funny twitching under my arm) .... not being able to side sleep yet.... and so on are all fine. I think I convinced myself something will go wrong. I have another appointment in 2 weeks so hopefully I can keep myself in check until then!
I'm glad to hear you're doing well Auriga! I just did the straightening on my 7th day!
In terms of pain killers, I think they are a bit different over here by name but I was given percocets & now I have a perscription for Tylonol 3's.
xoxo

Glad to hear your surgeon is happy with how everything is going for you Elle!!!
i think it's natural for us all to be impatient at these early stages when we've paid so much money and just want to see the end result now after the op.
Personally I just keep putting strappy tops on and thinking "OMG, look at those beasts!!! I've actually got boobs in my top!!"
I can't get over it!
In fact, my OH is SICK of seeing them :-s
