Re: March Buddies!
Hi Cath and Becca, any questions just ask away and everybody will join in and try and answer.
Now that you both have your dates booked, don't forget to add the dates to the calendar so that everybody can send you their good wishes just before you go in. To add your date to the calendar, just follow the instructions below:-
Click on [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] to get to the calendar section, read the sticky topic "TO ENSURE YOUR DATE GETS ADDED..." posted by RoxyChick and then create a new message with the required information - and hey presto, one of the moderators will add your date to the calendar.
Also you might like to get yourself a fun ticker and see it countdown to your date. To get a ticker just go here (although there are others available if you don't like any of the designs here).
Fill in your date and then your event type (eg "I get my new boobies" - the first part is automatically added i.e X weeks Y days until), it then walks you through the process of choosing the background and the marker and finally gives you the different codes for different sites - it is important that you choose the BB Code option as this is the one which works on BJSF. Copy the code and then go to your profile on BJSF (there's a link to it towards the top of every page) and select the 'Signature' option from the tabbed headers. In the Edit box in that section, simply paste the code which you copied into it. It will then appear under every post which you make from that moment and will update itself automatically.
xx

Re: March Buddies!
A big wlecome to our new March buddies! You'll be fine honestly and its easier than you'd expect! No question is to small or silly so feel free to ask anything, theres enough people on here to give you advice and support!
EJM so glad to hear it went well! Lots of relaxing now and hope you heal quickly!
Had my week post-op today. Just saw the nurse and she took my dressings off so I'm left with nothing covering my incisions which is a bit scary! Even tho the plaster wasnt exactly doing anything before now I feel abit exposed and worry that I'll rip them open or something silly! Can't believe how small they are tho!

Re: March Buddies!
How are all the March boobie girls doing today?? Any tummy swelling?
I look like I am 6 months pregnant! My boobs are massive. Hope they shrink some. Had my first shower and our water heater broke. Yep... Fist shower and it was barely warm.
I have to wash my incision 4 times a day and put polysporin on it.

March 30th 'Yay'
Hi ladies,
I'm booked in for my BA on 30th March with Michael Payne at The Hospital Group. Have been to see him today and ask a few questions, and now can't wait. Any ladies booked in around the same time?

Re: March Buddies!
WOW girls, I've been gone for one day and I've missed LOADS!!!
EJM so sorry I didn't get a chance to wish you luck before your op, but I'm really glad to hear you're back and doing well!!
Auriga, really good to hear from you too hun!! Hope you're doing ok!
Candy, I think we all had that bloated belly thing on here! I remember posting about it a little while ago!! Mine has started to go down now though.
Shiv hun, I too have stitches out now and dressings off. I have a little piece of tape over my incisions, but I was naughty when I got home and took it off to have a look at them, then put some fresh tape on.
I'm driving myself everywhere now and sleeping flat/on my side. Also managing to cuddle my children a whole lot more, although very cautiously. I can't believe how good I feel for 1 week post op, and I hope all you other girls are/will be feeling just as good!
Shaydey, glad to hear you're loving the look of your boobies hun, it must have been a pretty frustrating week having to wait to see them!!
Terena, congrats on your op the other day!!!! I hope you're doing well.
And hello and welcome to all of the other girls who have joined the March club!!

Welcome toMarch buddies Becca!
EJM - glad to hear you're ok huni looking forward to hearing more when you're more up to it! It is weird going under, I remember feeling a little odd and then oblivion until I woke up. I can't remember anything about waking up, just waking up in my room the afternoon after the surgery. Crazy!

Welcome to all our new March buddies! I'm doing fine today, but am going to be bored stiff soon. It's SO difficult not to pick up after the kids, just pop some washing on etc.....hubby's being fantastic, but men just can't multi task, can they?!
Roll on Tuesday when I can get the stitches out, dressings off and finally have a look!
Off for another early night. Night night xxx

Re: March Buddies!
Oh Wow! I have missed soo much in just one day! Where to begin.....
Welcome to the March crew to Becca, Cath & lilwilko!!! All of the girls on here are sooo friendly & helpful. As Shiv said, no question too silly or small. We ask all sorts of things on here. After all, it is your body and anything to feel more confident going into your BA the better.
EMJ-
Sooooo happy to hear you are doing well & recovering!
As for me, I am doing okay. I can't believe I am one week tomorrow post-op. My GA hard, bloated tummy is somewhat subsiding too so that's nice. I'm not in any pain even tho my brusising looks like I got hit by a truck. But I am doing okay. Just forever worried things won't heal perfectly!
So happy all are doing well!

Re: March Buddies!
Lola, nice to see we're having the same surgeon!
I saw him again today before I put my deposit down, to ask him an A4 list of mundane questions like, 'when can I ride a bike'
I don't even own a bike, I don't know where that one came from! Bike riders will be pleased to know you can ride your bike from 4-6 weeks post op haha
