The dizziness will pass fairly soon pet - I think I went for my first 'walk-about' around 8 pm and then went on regular jaunts every hour as I didn't sleep very well - I felt quite hot in my room so it was nice to get up and go and cool down

Thats good about the wi-fi, i will be taking my laptop along with me then, so I can keep intouch. Its been good of you to share with us and answer all my questions, thats what I love about this forum, I have learnt so much, and got loads of tips and advice. Made me more excited then scared. I still think I will be nervous the day b4 and on the day, but at the mo I just can't wait! Hearing from you 2day has made me even more excited! Thanks so much hun!
I don't think I will get much sleep the day b4, will be a bundle of nervs & excitable!

Amazing that you are on here so much. You have me inspired! Glad everythig is going ok! As for your face and nose... if you have had morphine for pain that will make your nose or face itchy sometimes. My son had surgery last year and they told me it is a side effect some people get with morphine and morphine related drugs.

Ah yeah I did have morphine so maybe thats what it is!
I just had a bit of a funny turn , my blood pressure got a bit low so felt faint but i just had a bite of some chocolate to get some sugar in had a 5 min sleep and I'm fine again now! Just waiting for my dinner now and I wish they would hurry up cause I think I need some more painkillers not starting to get abit uncomfortable now but still not exactly in any real pain!
Well this is why I wanted to come on to tell you ladies its really not that bad so try to be more excited than nervous! i'm getting really bored aswell so need something to do so this is filling some time up

Well I think it is wonderful watching your progress! I should be getting my house cleaned but I can not resist checking this site today. Keep us posted with the good and bad. I too am a huge wimp. I hated getting my bood done for the preop. I am going to be a basket case next week!

Haha well oops! sorry for distracting you! I;m just trying to keep my boredom at bay!
Just had a jacket potato for my dinner was a struggle to eat at first, made me feel sick but i think thats just because i haven't eaten anythin since y'day evening, but hopefully I can get some pain killers now just to keep it under control dont want to leave it to long and i get in alot of pain. My dads coming to visit me soon aswell which is lovely so not too lonely for me!
Surgeon just came down to have a check on me aswell and he said everythings look fine I had 310cc Under muscle and there was no problems and I should of gone up around 2 cup sizes.
And I'll be going home around 7-7:30 tomorrow morning :) xx

Great to hear that Shiv and Sheydey are doing so well! It's really made me feel better. Just been to the shops so now have a couple of button up tops, another sports bra, some dry shampoo and some deo wipes.....and I will remember my dressing gown to avoid the bare bot!
Oh and I'll take my laptop in the hope there's wifi.
Anything else I should take then? 6 sleeps! (Or 6 nights looking at the ceiling ;)

Shiv, I hope you've had a restful evening, and that you aren't too bored!! I've been so busy this evening I still haven't packed, and I have 2 hours of my favourite show to watch this evening so I'm only going to be having 5 hours of sleep!! I plan to make up for it tomorrow after my operation!

I hope to update you girls very soon on how I get on, as I probably won't be back on here now until after it's all done!

I couldnt sleep at all last night so managed about 5 hours sleep aswell, and not really slept that much today just been drifting in and out but only for like 5/10 mins at a time. Ready to fall asleep tho soon, after I've been given some more meds.

Good luck for tomorrow and enjoy it as much as you can! You'll be fine I promise!

Shiv - You make me laugh so hard! I love that you are fully on here during the first day of recovery! You are such a trooper! We are lucky to have you on here. Like Candycain said, your progress is super inspirational! I love it so thanks for sharing it all. I know I'll be a bored girl too so I will be killing time on this site during healing time too.

LindyLoooo22!!!! Soooooooooo excited for you! I can't believe your day is already here! This is sooo great having us all day by day! I love that we have all been on for a few weeks (at least) chatting and getting to know one another. It really does feel like we all have each other! Who else could we go through all this with??

This is getting really exciting watching everyone go for their big day!! Can't wait to see how the rest of us do. Just like Christmas only we are getting our boobs stuffed instead of stockings. LOL
Ok I know.... that was really sad. Guess I am getting giddy and I have not even had any wine. Although a beer or wine would be wonderful right about now. Happy boobie time everyone!

Hey all. Just thought I would pop on to say good luck to LL today and Shiv - well done honey, on the recovery road now.
Well I am on day 3 and havent taken any pain killer yet this morning. Definitely starting to feel better, but cabin fever is starting to kick in to so having to be careful not to do too much.
Had a bath yesterday (shallow) which made me feel loads better.
Must admit, am wishing the next few days away a bit as I cant wait to have all this strapping off and see my boobs a bit better.

It's really strange having no strapping on at all just my chest strap! I feel abit unprotected!
Glad to hear you're doing well Shaydey. Cabin fever started to kick in for me straight away at hospital yesterday! But I've already got good friends and my sis-in-laws in a queue to come visit me everyday so at least I'm getting some company coming to me!
Flowergirl and Kirsty, You're in real good hands at THG my nurse in the day was really lovely and did everything for me and the other nurse I had come in checking up throughout the night was a really sweet lady aswell. They will do anything you ask of them. Only one problem was a nurse on shift this morning was abit soured faced when I just asked for some pain killers and it seemed as tho I was asking her to grow some herself or something and due to lack of sleep I very nearly kicked off and had tears in my eyes! haha. I'm not a very nice person in the morning on the best of days tho, but i kept calm and she finally went to get me some after she'd finished her conversation with another nurse..

Hi guys, I'm back! Sat in hospital bed at the mo, and it's lovely to read all your posts and hear you're all getting on so well.

Shiv hun, you kick that nurse's butt if you need some meds!! Let your morning mood get you what you want lol!! (although I'm fully aware it's now afternoon!)
When will you get to go home?

I woke up and felt really teary. I was like "I'm so glad I've woken up!" lol. Then I had a good nap, and some food, and now I'm sat here writing to you. I went to the loo so I could have a look at my new addtions, and I look like madonna lol. They're a perfect size for me so I'm really pleased. James McD was really reassuring this morning, and I'm really grateful to him.

Still feeling tired so I might have a bit of a nap and come back on later, although it shouldn't be much longer till I get to go home. Kimmy hun, i'm thinking of you today as I know you're going through exactly the same as me! I was first in so over with really quickly. I have to say as well that for any girls who have breastfed, you know exactly how it feel because it's just kind of like day 3/4 where you're really full and tight and a bit sore. I had under the muscle as well, and I'm feeling a lot better than I thought I would!!

yay to the new me!! (and I'm not wearing a bra so if it wasn't for the door on my room being wide open I think I'd be sat here topless staring at them lol)

I think my story is pretty dull and uneventful really lol. I came in, I was very nervous and the nurse asked me some questions. The staff were really friendly. The anesthetist came and told me "it's really normally to worry about not waking up, but I am afraid you ARE going to wake up" which made me smile a bit. He also told me it'd take me a couple of minutes to gradually fall asleep, but I was laying down on the table chatting to them all about my children, and now I don't remember anything other than waking up in the recovery room feeling quite teary that I'd survived!! lol.

It's been a really pleasant experience, and everything that I could have hoped for. If any of the girls who have their BA's coming up have any questions I'm more than happy to answer them!!

I managed about 2/3 hours sleep on and off last night before I got woke up at 6 for breakfast to get me out at 7! Then had about a 5 min nap earlier and thats it. but I think I've gone past tired so I feel fine for now. I always find it difficult to sleep at night anyway and I can cope with no sleep! but think I might have a nice long sleep tonight now im back in my own bed!
Pain wise It's still not really that bad. Bit worse than y'day but still bearable. Just get twinges every now and then and if i sit down for a while when I get up they feel heavy. But nothing I can't cope with and I can't usually cope with alot of pain!
THG give you a nice stash of co-codomol to take home with you aswell.
I've got to go back in a week, have to phone up tomorrow to book my appointment. that's when they check if my stitches are dissolving and I'm allowed to shower after that. And I'd hope I get to take this horrible chest strap off and put a bra on cause it's SO itchy!
