Shaydey
You will be fine. Before you know it you will be back here telling us what to expect.
The days seem to be flying by. I too am nervous. I need to focus on some housework. I never thought I was an emotioal eater but everytime I turn around I am eating something. Not a good thing.
Good luck on BA day!!!

Awww Shayday!
Don't worry! We are all in this together and helping you along the way! I too am freaking out (8 days) so I'm right behind you with jitters! Use the forum and ask all the questions that are stressing you. I tell you, that Carol has some solid, heart helping advice! I read one of her posts the other week and will reread until my date. I'm going to try to find it and if I know how to link it I will. It may be a few pages in but the whole thing is really helpful & honest.
Also, there are February girls who are in right now. I'm sure you can chat with them and hopefully that will make you feel better. I am dishing out this advice... maybe I will try taking it! LOL.
xoxo, Elle

Re: March Buddies!
Hi Guys!!
Just thought i'd invite myself into this thread haha
I have my surgery booked for 30th March. I made the mistake of watching a video of a BA and got a little freaked out. PLUS that was overs that i watched... i'm getting unders which is apparently a lot more invasive. Is anyone having/had unders who would like to persuade me that its really not that bad!?

Hi Lolo - I had unders and you can read about my experiences in my diary [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]. I was surprised at how little pain I had from the operation itself and how fast my recovery was.
To be honest, I've had more pain from a splinter or a paper cut.
You will be fine hunnie - just don't watch any more scary videos :heehee:

Re: March Buddies!
For me, it was around 4 or 5 days before I felt I could cope, but I did feel tired after doing anything remotely strenuous (but I could lift the phone and talk ). It was probably around a week before I was really back to normal - but I don't do any heavy lifting still and am still not doing any weights in the gym.

Re: March Buddies!
Welcome new March 30 Lolo!!!
I have to say, you made me laugh sooo hard when you wrote that you watched a video on the surgery. It sooo crossed my mind and then I rethought it. After reading your experience in watching it, I was happy I didn't. So thanks!
Ummm.... Carol.....! I went to the link and now Im freaking out abut symmastia! I had no idea this existed! My new fear would have to be that this surgery goes really bad and I come out looking like a freak!
Is this common? I am googling like crazy! Google Image is definitely not my friend right now!
xoxo, Elle.

Re: March Buddies!
Hi Elle, please don't worry hun, symmastia is very rare although one lady on here did suffer this complication (bumblebabe) and has a longish thread about it - and you will scare yourself silly as those symmastia images on Google are really quite frightening.
Your surgeon is vastly experienced, so you should be safe in his hands.

Re: March Buddies!
Thank you Carol! I was trying to find out how rare it was and I kid you not, I got onto a page about it being common and then I just closed the window. I thought, this is a topic for BJSF!
Thanks again tho, I'm in full on freaking mode today!

Re: March Buddies!
symmastia!!!!! That is scary! I did not even know what it was. I read it happens more to women with a wide space between their breasts (which I have). Is this true?

Re: March Buddies!
Hi Angie, OK got some images done to explain it:-
First of all you need to copy the URL of the page you want the link to point to as per diagram below:-
Then you need to paste this into the body of the message you are creating the hyperlink in and you do this by clicking on 8th button along (see diagram below):-
Once you have clicked on this button you will see another box like below:-
Paste the copied URL address into the top box and then use a word in the bottom box (suck as 'here' or 'link') which you want to use as the hyperlink word.
You will see some BB code appear in your message like:- {url=https://boobjobsupportforum.forumotion.co.uk/f5-general-breast-augmentation]here[/url}
(some brackets have been changed to allow the code to be shown ) - and now all you need to do is double click on the link word to select it, go to the 9th button along and change its colour - the code will update to something like below:-
{url=https://boobjobsupportforum.forumotion.co.uk/f5-general-breast-augmentation]{color=blue]here[/color}[/url}
One word of warning, check that the code appears in the correct position in your message as if you add the link later, it will always be placed at the bottom of the message and not in the right place. If this happens just copy and cut ([crtl]+X) all the code and then paste it into the correct part of your message.

Re: March Buddies!
No, just the opposite in fact Candy - if you have a wide separation already, this is far less likely to happen. It can happen if the breasts are already very close and the surgeon uses implants which are too wide for your BWD.candycain wrote:symmastia!!!!! That is scary! I did not even know what it was. Re: March Buddies!
Hi girls, I feel like I've missed out on so much since last time I posted in this thread!!
Welcome to all the new girls who I haven't spoken to! Shaydey, how are you feeling now hun? Are you beginning to get a little more excited?
Bettyboopo... I bought the £6 one. I was looking for low impact ones but couldn't see any, so just got that one instead. I hope it's ok!
I have high boobs... or at least a relatively short distance between my nipples and my collar bones, so I'm only having medium height implants, and I've also been given a band which will go around the top part of my boobs to help push the implants down into their pockets!!
I've been in town today girls, I bought myself some of that Hibiscrub stuff (couldn't find the dettol stuff recommended by HoojieHayley), and also bought myself some dry shampoo, as I thought this might save me from looking like a grease monster on the second day of not being able to wash my hair..
So, that's my bra, antibac wash, and dry shampoo.... what am I forgetting?! I'm only a day case, so do you think that'll do it??
