Re: March Buddies!
I feel really indifferent about it. Not yet excited really. I think having two kids and my own business I am just stressed about how out of action I am going to be and how long it will take me to be running around like a lunatic again lol!

Re: March Buddies!
Welcome Beechu!!!! Congratulations on your date.
Girls, I had my final pre-op confirmation today. I showed my surgeon my perfect boobs photo, and he said he thinks it's a feasible result for me!! yay!!!! I'm so glad I went with him, he's really reassuring and so nice to talk to. Anyway, enough of my chuffiness, I just wanted to share my excitement!!!

Aww hunnie, you will be fine, honest. When you are getting ready for bed, just take a peek at yourself and imagine how they will look in just a short, short while and you will tingle with excitement and not fear

Re: March Buddies!
That's great advice Carol!
I also have been feeling nervous but more so about the pain factor..
I find myself awake a night thinking about how horrible the pain could possibly be! I guess I'm just so nervous because I don't know for sure how I'm going to feel afterwards, so the not knowing part of the surgery is the worst!
I am getting more and more excited as my date approaches!
Good Luck to all March-Girls!! Soon we will all be staring at ourselves in the mirror with a new confidence and 2 new best friends!!! xxxx

Re: March Buddies!
I'm more excited then scared at the moment, sure closer to the time I will be really scared.
I just cant wait to wake up with boobs! Like candycain said, just think about summer. That's what I'm thinking to. I might actually enjoy wearing a bikini for once! I am going to tenerife in August so I'm thinking about that!
Good luck 2 u all, not long now for all of us. xxxx

Re: March Buddies!
I made the big mistake of watching the surgery on a video. Sometimes too much knowledge is not good. My dr is giving me a pain pump for the first night so I should not have pain at first. It is the next night I am worried about. I am a real wimp when it comes to pain.

Re: March Buddies!
Has anybody got their sports bras yet? I'm totally confused as to what size to get. I'm getting 485 overs. I found some cheap ones in tesco for about £6. I think i'll get them a bit nearer my date though so i can take them back if they don't fit!. Thinking about getting a 36E and a 36 F. Bigger band size for the swelling! What do you guys think? xxx

Re: March Buddies!
Congrats Bentley!!
BettyBooPo, I just went to Tesco today and bought a medium impact sports bra. I had a consultation with my surgeon on Monday who told me that my skin and muscle etc is going to act like a bra in itself, so he doesn't want me to get a bra that is giving too much support anyway (maybe as it might prevent the implants from settling properly?!). He wants all the support to be on the band and not in the actual cups themselves. Your surgeon might feel differently though. I'm currently 32A and hoping to be 32D. The sports Bra I bought is 36DD so I'm hoping there will be more than enough room in there!! lol. I tried it on today with my rice boobs and it seemed like a perfect fit!

Re: March Buddies!
I completely forgot to ask my surgeon what size to get haha! I'm so dosey, in my first consultation i forgot to ask the price! I'll have to ring up and ask. How much were they? I saw some for £4 and some for £6. Yeah i've heard that before, and some surgeons don't like their patients wearing sports bra's at all. I am getting pretty big overs though so it might be a different case for me. Don't want them droopin! xxx

Re: March Buddies!
I asked about buying a bra and they told me "no". They will be giving me a surgery bra and don't want me wearing anything else. I am planning on buying a second one from them so that I have 2. I am not even sure what the difference between a surgical bra and a sports bra.

Re: March Buddies!
THe whole bra thing is so confusing. i went for a consultation last year and the surgeon then, believed that you should wear no bra at all and let them settle on their own. So if the advice can go from that to a surgical bra that only they can provide, I think we can take it that its just a personal choice of theirs and their beliefs. I bought a zip front one from M&S which seems really nice and comfy. however i am a 34a and have bought a 34c and not sure if I should have bought a tighter band or not. i figure buy one and then when you are done send someone out to go and grab you a couple more.
