Re: March Buddies!
Oh yeah, button-up shirts might be really useful!! I don't think I have any so I will have to get some this weekend. Thanks hun!!
Lots of people do stay over, just for an extra bit of rest, but if you don't live too far from your hospital and you feel well enough, why not go home?! I guess they wouldn't even allow it as an option if it wasn't safe for some people to do! (I hope so anyway!!)

Re: March Buddies!
You will be fine LindyLou - if there is any doubt at all, they will keep you in overnight. Plus you have the reassurance that there will be a doctor/nurse you can call at any time if there are any problems and you could be back at the clinic within a very short time if there were slight complications. Don't worry hunnie.

Booked my march BA today!
Hi ladies,
I booked my BA TODAY for 15th March! That's 2 and a half weeks away! Yikes!
I'm going with Dr Suliaman at THG. He recommended 340-380cc ultra high profile unders, however he's going to see what he can get in there! After breastfeeding 2 babies I deserve it! :heehee:
I'm thinking he recommended the uhp's cos I'm tiny, a size 4, 5'1 and 7ish stone, I'm a bit worried now about having pointy boobs. What's everyone else gone for?
So freakin excited, I want to jump up and down!
Look forward to chatting to you all, and hoping your surgeries go well!

Re: March Buddies!
You will find Dolan Park lovely sweetheart. Spotlessly clean, a nice (by hospital standards LOL) room, caring and lovely staff (except for one nurse who accompanied me to the theatre - she was a bit surly and non-communicative (but I suppose we have things that sometimes happen in our private lives which doesn't make us the brightest sparks at work).
Don't forget to add your date to the calendar so that we can all send you good wishes just before your day.

Re: March Buddies!
Congratulations Jenz on getting your date, it all starts to finally feel that much more real and exciting now - and not long to wait either
Don't forget to add your date to the calendar and maybe get yourself a ticker too - it's so nice to see those days count down one by one.

Aww congrats girls!!! Welcome to the March club. It's so exciting that we're all going through this together, and those of us who are earlier in the month will be able to give those of you who are following straight after us lots of info and advice about what we've been through!!
Can't wait, I want this week to fly by!!!

Can't believe it's less than a week away for you now sweetheart, it's flown by - although maybe not so fast for you as you waited for the next day to flip over in your Ticker. Won't be long now though - and my mum always taught us that good things come to those who wait (but maybe she didn't quite have this in mind :teehee: )

Flowergirl - I did the same, mine is the 8th and I booked it last weekend. Very scary but I can't wait and I'm sure we'll all be just fine!
Whoever suggested button-up night shirts is a genius! I must buy some...

Re: March Buddies!
Serenade- the button shirts were my friends suggestion as when she had her BA she struggled putting night shirts on for a few days.

Re: March Buddies!
HI All,
My date is March 10th at Spire hospital with Mr Graham Offer. I'm having 350 unders.
I'm terrified, but working on being more positive, and getting there slowly. If anyone else is having them done around about this time then let me know and we can help each other get through it.

Re: March Buddies!
Thanks Carol! I'm so busy with other things the time is ZOOOOMING by for me. It'll have been and gone before I know it, and I won't even have time to get excited about it. But, I can't wait to see my "good luck LL BA day" thread pop up.... I think that'll make it more real than anything!!!
Look at all us girls having our BA early March... is it always this busy or is it just a summer rush?!? (I know that's part of my motivation for having it now!!)

Scared!
Hi
I'm booked in for the 8th of March and am starting to get scared! I'm dreaming about it even...
I'm not sure I asked all the relevant questions at the consultation, I can't remember if he said that the implant would go over or under. Does it make a big difference?

Re: March Buddies!
Auriga: to get a ticker just go here (although there are others available if you don't like any of the designs here).
Fill in your date and then your event type (eg "I get my new boobies" - the first part is automatically added i.e X weeks Y days until), it then walks you through the process of choosing the background and the marker and finally gives you the different codes for different sites - it is important that you choose the BB Code option as this is the one which works on BJSF. Copy the code and then go to your profile on BJSF (it's towards the top of every page) and select the 'Signature' option from the tabbed headers. In the Edit box in that section, simply paste the code which you copied into it. It will then appear under every post which you make from that moment and will update itself automatically.

Re: March Buddies!
No, that's my stupid fault, you are both down for the 8th - the list I posted wasn't meant to be definitive though, just to give EJM an idea of the number of you having your ops in early March.
