I know exactly what you mean, I was at the cinema this afternoon to see Paul (verra funny) and halfway through for no reason my blood ran cold, I imagined being right there in the room with the nurse signing disclaimers and being proceeded towards 'the room'.

Re: March Buddies!
Hi!
Carol_S, thanks very much!
9 days to go, it's great reading all your tips about bras, nighties, etc. I suppose I'd better do some organising soon.
My head's starting to bang I'm so nervous. I've had a c section before, and am convincing myself that it can't be as sore as that!
Fingers crossed xxx

Hi
Just a quick question Carol_S, I see you're 2 and a half months on...are you still sore or back to normal now?

Re: March Buddies!
I can't believe how quickly it's rolling around... Although to be honest, now I've booked it, chosen my surgeon and company, I feel slightly less obsessive about it and more resigned to the fact it's going to happen.... in a good way!
Did anyone watch My Big Decision: Boob Job the other day on BBC3? That was my surgeon doing the BA... freaked me out watching it being done, not so much the slicing and ramming the implant in, but the cauterising... eurgh!
What are you all most scared of? xx

Re: March Buddies!
Honestly hun, if you've had a C-section, you should sail through this with a big, big grin on your face - and you get TWO new bouncing babies instead of one :teehee:

Re: March Buddies!
Flowergirl - the general anesthetic is the bit worrying me. I've never had one so am of course worrying that I'm going to be the one in however many (large number!) who are allergic to it. My head knows it's silly but....!!

Re: March Buddies!
That's how I was just before hun - in fact I was so damned excited I couldn't sleep for two days beforehand LOL. The only problem with that though is that it sent my blood pressure through the roof - so they had to do an ECG on the morning of the op to make sure I could still have it.........Im not even nervous just REALLYYY excited!........
You'll be fine sweetheart

Re: March Buddies!
Thanks for the good lucks
Just been phoned by the hospital to tell me my admission time is 7am so I hope I can try and get some sleep tomorrow night! unlikely tho I think. Really hope I'm one of the first to go down aswell as I'm not good with sitting around waiting too much!! Still abit unbelievable that it's actually happening tho but it's march tomorrow so we're all next to join the boobie club!

Re: March Buddies!
Wow March Girls! It is almost our boobie time!!!! How is everyone feeling? What kinds of things are you doing to prepare yourselves? I thought maybe we might be able to give each other some ideas. Any sugestions for those of you that have already had your BA.

Re: March Buddies!
One thing I would recommend is taking Arnica pillules - starting 3 days before and for four or five days after. They are recommended by THG and as I normally bruise very easily I took them and had very little bruising afterwards.
See this thread [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] for other people's views on Arnica.

Re: March Buddies!
I am running around like a headless chicken, getting the cupboards stocked so that the family can survive without me for a few days and getting all my work done so that they leave me alone too.
trying not to think about it, cause i hate hospitals and needles - oh joy!
tonight am going to eventually sit down at about 9pm and poop my pants. Am literally taking a sports bra and a toothbrush. I will message you all in the next few days and let you know what i wish i would have taken. xx
