Scared boobs!!!
Haha, I think my boobs are more scared than me about my op on the 28th. They've actually grown what seems to be over a cup size!!!! Which they've never done before. I think they're trying to bargain with me, so that they don't get operated on, but it's too little too late tiny boobies!!!!!!!! hahahaha!! xx

No, I've got the implant, and it for ages and don't even get periods so it's a mystery!!!! They're hurting me even now, it's weird, getting bigger every day, haha!!! So weird! Maybe they'll be DDs by the 28th so I can cancel my op, hahahahaha!!!!! :teehee:

Re: Scared boobs!!!
Ooooh, imagine if that happened how much money we could save!! Maybe it's all the imagining them being bigger is making it happen for real!
Funny though, I feel like mine are bigger than what I remember them being from before I was ever pregnant. I probably measure them about 3 times a day just to see if I got the measurements right the last time I did it... it's almost like OCD, but I can't say the little devils have done anything other than reduce in size since I stopped breastfeeding!
I have the implanon implant too, but it's been nothing but trouble so far!! You're so lucky not getting any periods with it!!

The only reason mine look bigger lately is coz of the ridiculously padded bra I've been wearing - gonna burn it next week

Re: Scared boobs!!!
I had the same thing happen to me - they were definately bigger the second time I saw my PS - I remember making an excuse that they were bigger because my period was due (but it wasn't) incase he suggested reducing the size of implant. I did think it may have been due to going to the gym more to trying to get fit before BA.

Re: Scared boobs!!!
id definitely do a pregnancy test before your op, just to be sure if theyre really changing in size, because no contraceptive is 100%, in fact i just saw this today
[You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]
at the very least it could put your mind at rest

Oh my god!! Don't scare me!!! My boyfriend just dumped me a few days ago, had the most hideous breakup, he was overheard by a friend saying horrible things about me and when I confronted him, he said he didn't care and didn't want to be with me anyway So I told him never to contact me again, can't seem to find any decent guys in my neck of the woods!
Already got a five year old and been a single mum for bascically all her life, can't have another one yet! I'm sure I'm not, I don't even get periods so I can't possibly be can I? xx

Haha, well up for some bra burning!!! I'm quite sad to throw some of my underwear away in a weird way though!! Although buying new undies with no unnecessary mammoth padding will be AMAZING!!! x

Re: Scared boobs!!!
Oh no, sorry to hear about that hun!! I think you're right though, the South West is quite lacking in wonderful men in my experience (can't include the OH in that, he's not so bad I guess :-p )
I was thinking about the whole bra shopping thing last night... I suppose because of all the changes that happen to your boobs afterwards and how long they take to settle down, it must be aaaages before you properly know what size you're actually going to be?!
It's like when you're having a baby and you rush out and buy all these teeny weeny baby clothes, only to find that your having a 10lb whopper!

I don't want to panic you hun but I think I agree with Abbie, I would do a test just because of all the stuff in the news about the implant, i would want to just to put my mind at rest. Have your boobs ever done that before? It could just be monthly hormone changes. x

Re: Scared boobs!!!
At your pre-op appointment they will ask you the date of your last period and whether you could be pregnant. If you don't have periods because of your implant, you may want to consider taking a pregnancy test - you wouldn't want to find out just a week or so before BA that you couldn't have it done because you were expecting!

Haha, yeah I'm gonna get measured at 6 weeks but not go crazy bra buying!!! Just get a couple not too expensive ones! I'm having overs so they should settle a bit quicker but not gonna go mad til around the 6 month mark!! x

I'm gonna get a test on the way home from picking the little one up from school. I know it sounds awful but I really hope I'm not, it's the complete wrong time, in the middle of a degree, single mum already, not good
Let you know how it goes later on

Re: Scared boobs!!!
It is scary but do the test first and hopefully all will be fine. The month before my BA, my period was 3 weeks late and I was freaking out - although my husband had the "snip" years ago - I am 46 and the thought of being pregnant was just too scary (all I could think about was I had waited all this time for my BA and if I was pregnant I still wouldn't get one) - in reality I think it just must be my age as I am already 2 weeks late this time. Which I am quite pleased about as I don't think I could have coped with it as well as recovering.
Let us know how the test goes xx

Re: Scared boobs!!!
Let us know hun - I'm sure it's just hormonal changes but best to be sure - especially with all the stuff in the news about the implant at the moment. It's possible for you to be pregnant on any form of contraception, obviously if you're not having periods at all it's going to be difficult for you to tell without a test. Good luck xx

Re: Scared boobs!!!
Thank you for all your replies, I've just this second taken it and as far as I can see I'm not, phew!!! I'm so careful usually, I just never thought I needed to use anyother form of contraception with my partner as I had the implant but it's all fine. Bring on the boobies!!!!!!!!!!!!! xx
