Re: January Buddies!
Ooh, how weird that I was thinking of you on the day you went for your appt! I have never had a blushing problem in my life, but everytime I meet my surgeon I come out with bright red cheeks - must be all the talking about boobs! It's just started snowing here so hoping I can get to my appt later this avo - the hospital is out of town down some pretty narrow windy roads. Will keep you posted ...xx

Re: January Buddies!
Evening ladies, well the countdown is on..Smiling like a Cheshire Cat.
Toriloula..I am also having my BA on the 14 Jan in Cornwall.
Im having high profile/extra high overs and my surgeon has suggested three sizes of implants that he will bring on the day,420,460 and 520. I didn't go in with a size in my head. Although i took my best friend who had 450 overs with the same surgeon and she is an E cup now. Previously she was a 34b (the same as me) so i had an idea of the size of breast in relation to the implant cc. I am 5ft 3 and 8stone 6. Since having had three children my boobs have changed alot. They don't disgust me, but do really underwhelm me and i feel like this is something for me after breast feeding. Good Luck Girls x

Re: January Buddies!
Olivia you are so simelar to me it's scary! I have the same op day as you, I too have had 3 kids and am naturally 34b (not quite sure after having my third baby) I am 5ft4 and weigh 8st6! I have 410s in at the moment but they aren't big enough for the look I want. The surgeon said he would happily put the next size up 525 in but he said that would only take me up half to 1 cup size (I am 32C/D at the min with my 410s) So I said I want to be bigger than that. He said I could at a push get the 605cc in but that's the biggest he will go as he doesn't want them to ripple. I am going for the 605s for sure. I don't want to be unhappy because theyr too small and have to save up for it doing again! Id say go for the middle or biggest one

Oh and p.s I have and am having under the muscle med/high profile I think when you go over the muscle you will be bigger anyway so I think if you go with the 520s you will probably get the same look/size as me

Re: January Buddies!
Hoojiehayley..Will do, i just bought a sports bra in M and S today with the zip front fastener and some dry shampoo, as all you ladies have suggested. Thanks for the tips.
ToriLoula... Wow it's really nice to someone to compare stats with. Thankyou for the size info. I 'm not sure about the size i want really but DD sounds good no smaller. Do you think i will get the chance to have a chat with him on surgery day as i haven't got another consult booked. When he mentioned the 520s i said "good God" does that mean i will be bigger than Toni (my friend that came with me, who he did a BA 2 yrs ago.)? She is an E cup. He said yes maybe slighter bigger cup. Although at the time i thought thats big, i am now thinking that i might be disapointed if they arent that size....How silly when i didnt really have a preference before lol. I think i might go middle /biggest xxxxx

Re: January Buddies!
All I can tell you is I thought WOW 410!! They took me up to a DD ish but then I lost weight and had baby etc now Im C. As soon as I had them done I knew I had gone too small. My advice is go for the biggest they will do. The surgeon wouldnt suggest a size that will look too big or silly. The worst thing in the world (my world lol) is to have them done and think, I need them doing again. In my opinion its going to be better having bigger boobs and having to get used to them and being able to wear different clothes if I need to 'hide' them a little than having them too small and having to buy chicken fillets to give me the size I dreamed of (which I have had to do now)
I would go for the bigger and love the fact that you have nice big boobies to show off.
Hope this helps

Re: January Buddies!
Thankyou ToriLoula,it is so good to hear other girls experiences. I hope you achieve the look you desire too. I emailed my surgeon last last and he replied almost straight away. I said i would like DD/E and he said he will try to achieve this for me and if i wanted another consultation then that was fine xxx

Re: January Buddies!
I've only got my first consult a week on Friday and I'm do excited!!God knows what I'll be like when I actually get a date for op.
Hubby will be peeling me off the ceiling I reckon LOL.
How long did you have to wait between seeing your surgeon and date for your op?
Hope mines not too long, I'm on holiday at the end of March and would love to be able to have boobs in a normal bra by then.

Re: January Buddies!
Hi Hunnie, it depends very much on the work load of your surgeon and the availability of spaces in the operating theatre of the clinic you have booked with. I was lucky, just a short 3 week wait for me from the original consultation to the date of the op. With luck you might be able to get a date before the end of January xx

Re: January Buddies!
Sounds like there are a few of us who have had boobies on the brain and needed time-out. I was spending hours and hours on the couch with laptop ....THEN reading on my iphone in the dark from bed! My partner wasn't impressed but has been very supportive otherwise,
I've had a nice break and am back online with 4 weeks and 1 day to go wooo hooo!
A huge welcome hug to all the new January buddies.
