Re: January Buddies!
Hi Emma & Carol
Feeling better today, not so uncomfortable & got a new low impact sports bra (or actually I found one of of the ones I brought to try on implants - 32D fits me perfectly & is very comfortable) so feeling better.
I absolutely agree Emma that it's part of the journey & I just love my boobs. My mum & dad popped over this evening & saw me in bra & tshirt for the first time since strapping came off. My mum thought they were lovely, perfect size & said to my dad " look, don't they look nice & he agreed" which was really weird but also very funny!
I have my work belated Christmas do 2mrw night & I was trying on tops 2day- have chosen something that shows off my new shape - without being iin your face & I am really pleased how nice they look shapewise, even in a sports bra - so looking forward to a bit of attention 2mrw from my friends who have been excited for me & have only really seen me in a jacket!

Re: January Buddies!
Hi - had a great night on the dance floor last night - LOTS of lovely compliments at how natural they look which is exactly what I wanted. However - a tip - don't dance with your hands over your head when you still have your stiches in..felt fine at the time (must have been the champagne!!) but boy were my ribs sore/pulling when I got into bed & again during the day today.
Stiches out tomorrow so hopefully I haven't done any damage!!

Re: January Buddies!
Hi Rae Rae - the pain was on my ribs, directly where my incisions are but it felt like my ribs themselves were hurting - by midday the following day I was fine though.
I am currently wearing a 32D sports bra during the day & a 34D at night - was wearing a 32C last week but had marks on breasts from seams so think that is too small (pre BA I was an empty A cup after breast feeding 2 children). I'm very happy with the result, exactly what I wanted - just waiting for them to soften & fluff!!
Good luck with your op xx

Re: January Buddies!
Thanks ladies. I'm just having trouble sleeping. My back is killing me to have to sleep like this. I'm used to sleeping on my front. I guess no more of that. Good luck to the girls with the BAs coming up!!

Re: January Buddies!
Hi everyone Just wondering if anyone had a 'sad' day? I woke up this morning feeling a bit headachey and low, and very teary . I should be feeling on top of the world shouldn't I? I'm happy with my new boobs and so it's pretty ungrateful of me to be feeling like this. I don't know if it's coz i haven't been out the house since Saturday or I can't pick my kids up or my hair needs a wash! Even reruns of Greys Anatomy aren't cheering me up and usually McDreamy and McSteamy are right on the button

Re: January Buddies!
Hi Carrie, like Mima said, it's a common phase which many of us have - although I must admit not being able to wash my hair was driving me mad - so I did end up by washing it on Day 3 and immediately felt so much better. Can you get a friend to do it for you hun if you don't feel able to do it yourself?? I must admit, the problem for me was not the actual washing it, but blow drying it into a style afterwards.
Can you have a cuddle with the children on the sofa??
