Re: January Buddies!
Hi January Buddies,
Thank goodness for the hints & tips on this site. My pre BA to do list is rapidly growing. I'll have Mum staying for a week to help but I still want to be organised.... so I'm less of a pain.
I'm away with work but home sweet home Wednesday night & will get my profile sorted ASAP.
XxX
P.S. Booked final appointment today - I'm having another implant "try on" next week. I keep freaking about being too big.

Re: January Buddies!

Just wondering from a couple of threads that I've read whether the cold weather will affect us post op in January!?
Emmamichelle - yes I'm at highgate too two days before so hopefully I'll be well enough to give u an update as to how it all went!

Re: January Buddies!
Hi Deflated - lets get counting!!
EmmaMichelle, I'm in Perth, Australia. My PS is Dr Chan. I'm having 395cc partially under placement with under incisions.
VERY HOT January weather for me! I'm arranging a new air con to be installed in our bedroom. I'm sure it will help whilst suffering through my first week post op.

Re: January Buddies!
Sounds like a plan! I live within an hour of highgate so I'm a day case.
think I'm going to get a couple of warm zip thru jumpers/hoodies because most of mine at the moment have to go over my head. On the actual day I don't think I'll be wearing my most attractive outfit coming home!! Probably cosy
jogging bottoms think my hollister ones (I recommend!) with a button thru short and a zip
up jumper. Tempted to take a blanket in the car
too as bet it will be freezing! Let me know wat
ure thinking of travelling home in!?
I was also thinking about shopping
lists/checklists for post op as the date is
creeping up! I found this [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] but I think it has some things that we might not need and also misses a few things!

Re: January Buddies!
aww i need to find pj's that button up but im so fussy and dislike most of them in the shops lol!
Yeah was thinking the same for travelling home, i have jogging bottoms from republic like the hollister ones but any excuse for a trip to hollister  either those or leggins with a long shirt and a zip up jacket ! i may consider the superdry lumberjack hoodies aswel they look super comfy and thick and button up!
Been looking at bras today aswel.. are you buying the one Mya recommended? i've seen a high impact sports bra in m&s that zips up at the front that someone has recommended before good value for money!
lots to think about!! blankets and pillows in the car !! i've read to buy a V shaped pillow aswel good for watching tv and general things like that, only £6 in argos
thanks for the link :) xxxx

The Argos pillow sounds like a must at six quid!
When did mya recommend a bra and which one? I was planning on going for the exact same zip up bra from m and s it looks perfect

Re: January Buddies!
lol i havent got any of it yet plan to this month.. feels like i'm having a baby or something the way i'm going on, just want to make sure i have everything!! just thought to add dry shampoo to my list as im an overnight case.. i'll ask my sister to try and make me look semi decent for the way home!
they showed me one from [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] you tell them the size you are now and the size you hope to be after and they send you the perfect size apparently! the ones i like on there are £38.. thinking i could get two zip up bras from m&s for that price!i think the zip will be a godsend!
unsure what size to get from m&s though what size are you now and hoping to be if you don't mind me asking? xx

Re: January Buddies!
Of course no probs... I'm currently 34 a and I was told by dr adamo should be a full c / d... But who knows!? Def going to get about three as it's difficult to tell have no idea about size at the moment especially as I've heard they come up slightly smaller...
Am still thinking go with the m and s bras but will take a look - thanks for the link!
Out of interest what size are u and hoping to be as I saw ure having a similar size implant :)

Wow, I've been away with the family for just a few days and look how much Jan buddies has grown! Hi Mima, Emmamichelle, titanic_girl, rachelmoore and deflated I actually forgot about my BA for a while (well, apart from when I thought it was the last time I'd look so flatchested in a tankini lol), but returned to a huge pack from my hospital, pre op forms, info etc - all very real now and only about a month to go, arrrhhh!!
