Hi!! I'm booked in for January 5th with dr adamo at mya... Planning on having either 340/380 cc hp overs... Still undecided!! Very excited and of course nervous... It would be great to talk to anyone who also has their op in January!!

Re: January Buddies!
Hi Emma22 - new year, new us! I'm booked in for January 7th with Adam Topping. Current recommendation after 1st consult are round 385/450 full projection partials ...but like you undecided! Have 2nd consult next week and want to look at anatomicals or perhaps moderate projection rounds - feeling nervous about being too 'out there'!!

Re: January Buddies!
Hi carrie! That's so good that we have similar dates... It's really difficult deciding on size, and I know what you mean about projection. I basically have nothing to start with so hoping this won't be a problem. Just out of interest is this your first or second consult with the surgeon?? I've just had the one with dr adamo and am going to go back to try implants and speak to my pc, but struggling to find a date to get there.
Let me know if you have any interesting updates and I'll do the same... X

Im looking to book my BA in January... Going to see my PC & surgeon on 17th & will see what dates they have free.. Im going to ask about the late booking dates as they offer up to £600 off if you are flexible with dates (MYA)

Re: January Buddies!
I asked them today how it works. I need to speak to the pc.
But from what I can gather if your flexible they reward you, I guess its dates that have cancellations / haven't been filled yet etc.
They try to give you at least 2 weeks notice & its usually sooner rather than later so sounds good!

Hi Emma, just realised I didn't reply to the question in your earlier post, sorry! I have had 1 pre-op consultation with my surgeon already which was about an hour, going through op, risks, breast exam, measurements and trying implants in sports bra. I have booked a 2nd consultation with him for next week to try implants again (nurse said I won't be so shocked this time!) And I already have a 3rd consultation booked in for 17 Dec as this will be last opportunity to see him before op coz of xmas/new year.
Have you had any luck booking your next consult?

It's booked!
Hi January buddies. Just to let you know that my ba is confirmed for Fri 7 January OMG! Just as well I don't have too long to wait as I think I'd be certifiable if I had to wait any longer - all this thinking/worrying has sent me a bit bonkers already !!

Re: January Buddies!
Done for you hunni and congrats on booking your op date! Don't forget to add your date to the 'calender entries' forum! xx
Re: January Buddies!
Hi!!
That's so exciting that it's confirmed :) to be honest they haven't offered me another consult with the surgeon which is a bit strange!! I think I will give her a call later today and ask if I can get one. My pc said to me I can try implants at nurses appointment but that's two weeks before!! I think we are both all over the place but don't worry it should be fine :) xx

Re: January Buddies!
I would defintiely want to meet my surgeon before the op (in fact I'll be seeing him 3 times). Also, my first time trying the implants sent me into a right tizzy so I'm glad that I've got 8 weeks to get my head straight and think about what I really want and what to expect. Emma, is it a co-ordinator that you've met/spoke with so far?

Re: January Buddies!
Hi carrie,
thanks for asking... I had to leave a message with her as only phoned her yesterday. If I don't hear anything I will give them another call today! Really would like to have another chat with them and try implants as still stuck between 340/380 cc and would like to hear their view.
Will keep you posted - hope all is well with you?

Hi carrie,
haha I know what you mean... That's soo exciting hopefully it will help you make the decision on size. I still haven't heard from mya so will be giving them a call again!! Apart from that I'm good though thanks, just very aware that the date is creeping up and I think another appointment would put me at ease x

Re: January Buddies!
Oh Em, definitely make another appointment and don't let them convince you it's not necessary, because this is an important part of the process and you'll feel so much better going in for your op if you're feeling fully prepared. I take it you're still happy to go thu mya?
My consultation went really well - I've never looked so good in a white top. I think I went way over my appt slot, but I was quite enjoying my reflection! I'm 99% sure I'm gonna have 450cc - a few weeks to conquer the 1% of doubt that is sure to creep in between now and op. My PS took some pics on my phone so I have something to remind me - you might want to do the same!

Re: January Buddies!
That's a brilliant idea - I definitely need to try them in a White top as I wore black before and it was quite deceiving! I will try and make another appointment before my nurses appointment and am fine to go thru mya but this just seems a but strange. X

Re: January Buddies!
I thought I'd post my stats here and wondered if you ladies wanted to do the same? There's a sticky for this, but only if you're post op (I find it helps when talking implant sizes and how they might look). So here goes:
Height: 5"9
Weight: 9st7 (-10 if I've been at the biscuits!)
Ribcage: 29"
BWD: 13cm ish
Bra size pre BA: 32A/emptyB

Hi Emma & Carrie! I'm new to this site but am indeed a January buddy (unless a cancellation comes through 16th Dec). I'm very excited but so nervous so thought the support on this site might help. Roll on the 27th Jan!!
