Re: unders or overs Dr Adam Kalecinski
Hi hun, I would think the surgeon would be best to advise whether to stay with over the muscle or with going larger you may need to go under. I had 410cc overs and was a 32A before and have gone up to a FF/G
I didn't have this surgeon so cant comment sorry.

Re: unders or overs Dr Adam Kalecinski
Whether you can accomodate over is dependant on the amount of breast tissue you have to ensure the implant can be covered and not be be visible, if you don't have enough breast tissue then unders will be best as the muscle covers the implant. Your surgeon will be able to tell you which is the best placement for you sweetie.

Re: unders or overs Dr Adam Kalecinski
Hi Nuttydoll I am in a simular situation in regards to not knowing exactly what size implant I currently have, it may sound daft but I had my BA 13 years ago and I genuinely don't remember what CC they put in. My surgeon has taken into consideration my stats (I am 5.9", size 8) from before my op and now combined with his experience "thinks" I have around 310cc (overs) at the mo. This took me from a B cup to a DD.
I am now getting BA#2 and want to go bigger. I know that I am having unders as my breast tissue has decreased so unders will give me a less round look to what I have now. But we've made the decision that if I have 310cc or less he will use the 460cc's and if I have more than 310cc he will use the 525cc. I would like to looklike a full E, I have realised that it doesn't really matter what size the bra is i.e. DD, E, F, FF whatever just so long as I actually get the LOOK I want.
Your surgeon will know whether UNDERS or OVERS are best for you. I never even knew they put impants behind the muscle until I had my consultation this time around. And like my surgeon he will be able to decide on the size of implant fo you to get the look you want to achieve. Are you having another appointment with him at all??

Dr Adam Kalecinski im going too
Hello
I am going for my Op in March 2013 - flights booked and hotel puro for £482 for me and hubby booked
I just cant wait.
Can I say, You can spend hours researching size etc but ive met adam already for a consultation and he measures you up, he asks what your desired look/size is and he lets you have a look/play with all the implants in his room and then checks the thickness of your skin, sfter all this he still has to decide once he opens you up what size pocket you have to place the implant in.
I went with a list of i wants etc and basically - i wont know for sure until on the day. I have pre agreed 650cc as a minimum to 800cc his maximum.
We checked together through the eurosillicon leaflet and he made a telephone call to the supplier asking what could be done with regard to deposit to order implants for me in different sizes (i want llarger than average) - he managed to secure a deal of having 4 differnt sizes available to him on the day on loan. This saved me money so i was grateful to him
hope this helps
have you registered with adam surgeon fb page? just send an email to the uk people bridget or david and they will let you join it. you will find loads of girls on there
i notice your name from other forum too

Re: unders or overs Dr Adam Kalecinski
This surgeon, Adam Kalecinski is not on a specialist register to perform plastic surgery. He is registered only on the GMC register to perform 'general surgery' only!
Please ALWAYS check a surgeons qualifications when having this surgery and do ensure they are on a specialist register to perform plastic surgery.
in choosing to have surgery aboard you do have to check and double check that you are in safe hands, ensuring the surgeon is fully qualified to perform the procedure and in wanting a BA/uplift ensure they're on on a specialist register for plastic surgery.

Re: unders or overs Dr Adam Kalecinski
It's very frightening that any surgeon can take a knife to your body hun!
This is why it's VERY important to check you have a surgeon who specialises in the procedure of your choice.
Surgeons not on the specialist register for plastic surgery have had no training in these, procedures at all and why there is the possibility of women being at risk putting their lives in the hands of such surgeons. This isn't a small operation. This is major surgery! And you can't put a price on your body or indeed your life. Xx

Re: unders or overs Dr Adam Kalecinski
This is only "my" opinion but I would never go abroad for surgery mainly for the aftercare. My sister had a nightmare of a time after she had a gastric band done in Belgium. The surgeon was one of the best and she did all her research etc (she is a ward sister so knows her stuff) The op went fine but she had a lot of complications after and had to make 4 more trips to Belgium at her own cost. It got to the point that she now had had the band taken out in this country and had a bypass which has all gone well. Any surgery can have complications but at least if you are in this country you can be seen quickly and not have to get on a plane. As I have said though this is just my opinion xxx

Re: unders or overs Dr Adam Kalecinski
There is a diary here written by one of our members - ShootingStar. She too had surgery abroad. She went and had a BA at the recommendation of a women who had pm'd her on another forum. It's somethingi feel anyone considering surgery abroad should read first before committing to anything.
It turned out the woman who disguised herself as a previous patient wasn't that at all, she was an advertiser. Spamming forums to advertise the clinic is a very devious way.
ShootingStar had her surgery and after returning home the wound had started to infect. She got no help at all from the surgeon abroad. To cut a long story short, she was in the shower one day and looked down to find her implant was falling from the bottom of her breast.
It's cost her a lot more money having reconstructive surgery to correct the damage that surgeon did by having to have more surgery with a reputable surgeon on the uk.
It is very risky and not a risk I'd take with my body or my life that's for sure!
For something initially 'on the cheap' it can turn out to be VERY costly.
Sorry to read about your sister Lucky Xx

I agree with everything you have said Cookie. I understand the lure of cheaper surgery but you have it spot on when you say its not worth risking complications or worse XX

Re: unders or overs Dr Adam Kalecinski
I totally agree, I personally would never had surgery abroad. You can't put a price on your body. I need the assurance I have valid aftercare if anything was to go wrong , a surgeon who Is trained and expert in his field.
As i said on a previous post, you may read good reviews on his website, but for all the good ones there will be complications or botched ones and of course they are not going to be used as advertisement.
Just because surge is as cheap as chips doesn't qualify as a good reason to get major surgery that requires techinal skill esp for an uplift, that is not risk
free. X

And also to work with large implants requires knowledge in that particular area not all surgeons can or are willing to work with larger implants .

Re: unders or overs Dr Adam Kalecinski
Thank you cookie for sharing shootingstar's story - it sounds horrific to go through, but it's so important that girls considering going abroad for plastic surgery hear these real stories. Of course there will be girls who have had surgery abroad and haven't had any problems, but it's such a risk and you need to know that if something does go wrong, you will have the aftercare.
I agree mrsball - I could never even entertain the idea, it's too much of a risk on your body.
Cookie - when looking for a surgeon you mention the plastic surgery register, what is the register called so I can look when researching surgeons? This is going to sound silly but are all surgeons through the popular plastic surgery chains (MYA, Transform etc) on this register?

Re: unders or overs Dr Adam Kalecinski
All surgeon in the UK will be on the GMC register HERE deex. If you click on the link at the top right of the forum that says 'Check a doctors registration status' you can then type in a surgeons name and his qualifications will come up for you. When having a BA you want to ensure your surgeon is on the specialist register for plastic surgery hun.
No matter what clinic you choose or how reputable you think they are ALWAYS check the GMC register and check them out lovely. Xx

Re: unders or overs Dr Adam Kalecinski
Thank you so much Cookie!! I've just checked two surgeons at Transform, one who I've had a consultation with, the other who I'm booked to have a consultation with in December, and neither are on the specialist register!
But I know there are lots of girls who have had their BA's with them, on here. Aaargh I'm going to have to keep researching!! lol
Thanks for all the info though cookie, you're a star xx

Hi,
I just checked for my ps details on the register - mr chantarasak - and he's on it but not on the specialist one. I've heard lots of good reviews - here, elsewhere and in person - so should I be worried about the fact that he's not on the list?
Thanks x

Re: unders or overs Dr Adam Kalecinski
I personally wouldn't want a surgeon who didn't specialise in this field of plastic surgery operating on me. You could always contact the gmc and find out more about your surgeon hun as well as researching any letters they may have after their name and checking those out too. Xx
Re: unders or overs Dr Adam Kalecinski
I know Mr Chantarasak has these after his name BSc, MBBS, LRCP, MRCS, FRCS DipABHRS

It's whether you are happy that matters hun, not whether I am. If you are confident in your surgeon of choice then you should proceed with your op. If not there is no harm in looking around.
