Unders to overs
I know a couple of you girls have had reops and gone from under the muscle the over, can you shed some light on the difference between the two now you've had both? How do they feel different? Can you get a cleavage now?
Thanks x
Thanks x
Re: Unders to overs
It's early days for me but so far my "overs" are much softer and squishy but a little less pert. Looks wise I would agree that you do lose a bit of the size of implant when you go under the muscle but you do also get a very natural shape (even my mother who was not happy about me having the op said so) with no sign of the implant on the upper pole.
My boobs are naturally very wide anyway and I never wanted a very close "bum" cleavage but with a good bra got a great line under the muscle. I have a feeling that my cleavage will be very different with overs especially in a great push up bra but will just have to wait another 5 weeks to find out.
Will be interested to see what other girls think.

Re: Unders to overs
well i had unders with my first 2 b/a s and changed to overs with the 3rd and i love them so much more for a few reasons.
they feel much softer my unders felt very firm in comparrison, they move now like natural boobs whereas the unders were very rigid and it took an awful lot to make them jiggle.....i had to jump up and down .
i also think they look much more natural surprisingly as i always assumed unders would look more natural but my overs defiantely look more, the shape and the way they sit...everything really.
my unders never really felt like they belonged on me but now i feel like i have the boobies i was meant to have if that makes sense?
everyone is different, there are so many girls who love their unders but they were just not good for me.

Re: Unders to overs
awww thanks hunny, are you thinking of changing to overs nads?
some girls prefer them to be rigid and not jiggly but for me i much prefer them softer and bouncy.

Re: Unders to overs
I've always said i wish i could've had overs, but it wasnt possible (2 surgeons told me) as i started with hardly any tissue, especially in the upper pole, without them looking v fake and possible rippling. Now they've stretched out a bit, im wondering..x
Re: Unders to overs
Good post, I was thinking the same thing Nads for my re op. I had unders cos I was told by 3 surgeons I had little breast tissue. But now I've had my 410cc unders I am wondering if I could have overs in December at my re op. Looking forward to finding out.

Re: Unders to overs
That would get rid of the double bubble thing hun, just like Sclarke, good thing to ask at your consult x
Re: Unders to overs
Yeah please god. I dont think it is double bubble. The implant is folding, I can feel it in my boob really bad now when I lie down. Would be interested to see what they say about going from unders to overs. Dont overs sag quicker tho, I'd be wearing my sports bra at night, especially if I have 600cc+

Re: Unders to overs
Yeah, wearing a bra alot more is important, but it does depend on your genes/skin because some peoples skin sags much quicker than others x
Re: Unders to overs
Are you thinking of having a re op Nads? I'll let you know what they say about having overs at my consults.

Re: Unders to overs
I was also thinking about maybe going for overs next year if these dont soften up. I just find my unders too firm at the moment. Im also worried about doing things like running, as I have this image that my implants are going to bottom out after a strenous run :o .
The part that is soft is my original breast tissue but there is quite a bit of difference between that and the feel of the implant behind it.
The only thing I would be worried about with overs is rippling because even though my skin has stretched out, I do have stretchmarks from pregnancy etc, so I dont know if my skin is good enough for overs.

Re: Unders to overs
well like i said i started out very small but then again i have had mine stretched first with the 350 then the 525 so maybe that's why i could have overs,
i was always paranoid about how firm they were when under the muscle, i would see other girls walking down the road and their boobies would be bouncing and mine just stayed where they were  .
i felt very uncomfortable and embarrassed when my oh would feel them because i was so aware they felt nothing like real boobs.
as i said though some girls do prefer them to be firm.
i too had stretchmarks from pregnancy, i have them on my boobs bum and hips, i hate them but i have learned to live with them and i don't feel embarrassed by them anymore.
i think my boobs being bigger makes them less obvious and better now as they are stretched out, stretchmarks are worse when the skin is soft and loose because then they look all wrinkley too.
i'm not worried about sagging as my other ones never sagged i actually would like them to drop a little bit just to look that bit more natural so i have been wearing bikinis most days now.
they are so comfy too, the halter neck non wired ones.
xx

AK that makes total sense to me. Having overs feels more like the implant is part of my natural breast tissue rather than being separated from it.
I quite liked them being more rigid tho...
Nads, will def keep you updated as to cleavage status!

Re: Unders to overs
Thanks hun!
I dont find mine firm at all but i dont have anything to compare it to i guess, i can squish them nicely with my hands so its not that part i mind i guess, just the cleavage thing x

Re: Unders to overs
You had partials like me, the bottom is a little softer than the top half of my boobs, i guess it would feel like that all over?
Re: Unders to overs
Exactly. Just feels like the implant and my breast tissue are the same (and thats just a week post op!)
