have I broken stitches???
Help!
I took off my steri strips this morning after my shower to change them for fresh ones. I lifted the boobs one at a time with one hand and had a clean along the incision with a baby wipe as normal... anyway, this morning I didn't press any harder than usual or do anything differently, but felt 2 little popping sensations on one side and 3 on the other - could swear it felt like my internal stitches were snapping - but it happened really easily! Is this normal? Please tell me I haven't done any damage!!! Everything feels fine - no pain at all...

Re: have I broken stitches???
You're fine hun. The popping sensation is just the scar tissue breaking down, it's a good sign that all is healing well, not everyone gets this sensation, but if you do, it's nothing at all to worry about. xx
