Broken wrist!!! Noooo!
Hiya I had a fall on Friday, been in hospital since Friday and just got home. Snapped my radius totally disfiguring my wrist. I've had 4 screws and a plate. Got to go back Friday to have the stitches removed and another cast on for 6 weeks.
Doctor said he doesn't see why I couldn't still have my BA in 2 weeks but what dou think? THG isn't open today and I'm scared of the answer :(

Oh no Sharon! That is awful!
I think they can still do it. They ask you before the ga if you have any metal plates or anything. I'm not sure id fancy being you though, having to recover from a ba as well as a broken wrist at the same time. I guess it will depend on how you feel about recovering from both together, x

OOh, that looks nasty!! You poor thing! But tramadol is awesome!
I think you should be ok with full disclosure, as long as you tell them what happened, what treatment you've had and what meds you've been on. But You're only going to know for sure if you give them a bell. Do it first thing tomorrow, then you wont have to worry.

Oh my goodness, that looks painful! I hope you're not suffering my lovely. No idea whether you'd still be able to go ahead with your ba, I'm assuming from your posts that you're keen to continue if poss. At least you'd get everything out of the way altogether!
Phone up first thing in the morning and let us know what they say. I'll keep my fingers crossed for you.
xx

Re: Broken wrist!!! Noooo!
Hi Hun poor you, I really hope they say you can go ahead, know it's not ideal when you have an injury but I also know how much emotional energy it takes in the lead up to a ba so it was be so disappointing for you if you had to postpone :( i shall wait to hear xxx
